題型歸類的常見形式是 “Someone should/must do something to have/do something or for a purpose"(即要想達(dá)到某個(gè)目的，則應(yīng)該/必須怎樣去做。但有時(shí)，題目中并不明確說明這個(gè)目的)。或者，題目中雖沒有明顯的 “Someone should/must do something to have/do something or for a purpose”這一結(jié)構(gòu).但可以明確判斷出題目實(shí)際上是給出了一個(gè)建議。
例如下面這三道題：
1. In order to become well-rounded individuals, all college students should be required to take courses in which they read poetry, novels, mythology, and other types of imaginative literature.
2. No field of study can advance signifkandy unless it incorporates knowledge and experience from outside that field.
3. Some people believe that government funding of the arts is necessary to ensure that the arts can flourish and be available to all people. Others believe that government funding of the arts threatens the integrity of the arts.
建議類題目的分析切入點(diǎn)有三點(diǎn)：
1. 題目中的建議可行性如何?
2. 如果實(shí)施題目中的建議，是否會(huì)導(dǎo)致同初始目的相矛盾或其他荒謬的結(jié)果?
3. 有無替代或折中方案?
