閱讀：對(duì)美國(guó)的小學(xué)安排教授樂(lè)器（musical instruments）的課程產(chǎn)生質(zhì)疑。
提出三個(gè)理由：
1. 在樂(lè)器課程上花費(fèi)時(shí)間意味著其它課程的學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)間要減少了，比如reading和maths，這些課在大部分人眼中是更加重要的；
2. 開(kāi)設(shè)音樂(lè)課程成本高（costly），學(xué)校需要購(gòu)買大量的書籍、樂(lè)器以及支付工資給新的樂(lè)器老師。這些花費(fèi)都很多，長(zhǎng)期而言，對(duì)學(xué)校是個(gè)巨大經(jīng)濟(jì)負(fù)擔(dān)，不切實(shí)際；
3. 學(xué)習(xí)樂(lè)器對(duì)小學(xué)生的現(xiàn)在或未來(lái)沒(méi)有什么實(shí)際用途。而且大部分學(xué)生其實(shí)并沒(méi)有音樂(lè)天賦talent，而小部分有天賦的學(xué)生僅僅靠學(xué)校的基礎(chǔ)樂(lè)器課程也是沒(méi)有什么實(shí)際意義的，還是需要在私下進(jìn)行練習(xí)。
聽(tīng)力：反駁閱讀，認(rèn)為設(shè)置音樂(lè)課程有好處。
1. 學(xué)習(xí)音樂(lè)對(duì)閱讀和數(shù)學(xué)有輔助作用。一方面，學(xué)習(xí)音樂(lè)是需要了解數(shù)學(xué)的相關(guān)知識(shí)。如學(xué)習(xí)音符note，可以讓學(xué)生了解分?jǐn)?shù)fraction。另一方面，學(xué)習(xí)音樂(lè)可以提升學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言能力。如學(xué)習(xí)音樂(lè)可以讓學(xué)生區(qū)分不同的聲音會(huì)提升語(yǔ)言的能力。；
2. 有辦法可以抵消音樂(lè)課的高成本?？梢哉乙呀?jīng)退休的志愿者retired volunteers來(lái)教小學(xué)生音樂(lè)課；另外，可以向家長(zhǎng)收取一小一部分費(fèi)用，并且一個(gè)樂(lè)器可以給好幾屆學(xué)生用，這樣既減少了學(xué)校的負(fù)擔(dān)也減輕家長(zhǎng)的負(fù)擔(dān)；
3. 學(xué)習(xí)音樂(lè)對(duì)孩子的未來(lái)是有幫助的。盡管可能學(xué)習(xí)音樂(lè)不會(huì)幫助學(xué)生找到一份工作，但是學(xué)校教育的目的是讓學(xué)生能夠用充實(shí)的生活。

首先，和朋友一起玩是發(fā)現(xiàn)和進(jìn)一步發(fā)展共同興趣的好方法（having fun with friends is an excellent way to find and further common interest）。解釋句：In a relaxing atmosphere， people are more likely to communicate and interact freely， which is a great opportunity to extend topic to their interest. Once finding similar interest， friends would hang out more frequently. 舉例論證。
另一方面，與朋友共度時(shí)光，有時(shí)，可以幫助加強(qiáng)默契的合作enjoying time with friends， sometimes， can help strengthen cooperation and tacit understanding。解釋句：When having fun together， people often play some games or matches. In some cases， friends need to collaborate and discuss strategies. 舉例論證。
讓步段：確實(shí)，幫助朋友解決困難也能升華友誼，因?yàn)榕笥褧?huì)感激你為他所做的事情Admittedly， helping a friend out of a difficult situation can improve friendship， because he/she will appreciate what you have done。但是在日常生活中，朋友遇到小麻煩，往往可以自己解決，并不需要我們幫助Yet， in daily life， friends who encounter small troubles can figure out on their own and do not need any help。而遇到大麻煩，我們的能力是有限的，往往不一定能能給處于困境中的朋友提供及時(shí)有效的幫助If in big a trouble， we may not be able to provide timely and effective help to our friends as our ability is limited。何況大麻煩是小概率事件，而have fun with friends是非常普遍的。所謂朋友，一定是在一起開(kāi)心放松的人The so-called friend must be someone makes you happy and relaxed staying with each other。
