I think it is important for everyone to remember what we and our country have been through. First, learning from the past is a way of inheriting the history. Every book of history is made by events that changed the development of our nation, like the birth of PRC, so it’s worth our attention. Second, we can learn from the past as well, those history events sometimes are very similar with what we encounter in our modern life. Being familiar with our history means that you acknowledge the way of solving tough problems before anyone else knows the solution. Based on these reasons, I believe it is important for us to learn from the past.
