Task 1.
What kind of suggestions do you have to reduce traffic congestion? Explain why.
There are lots of ways for the city to deal with the traffic jams. Firstly, the decision makers should invest more money to improve public transportation, like adding more bus routes, developing express local trains and renovating bumpy roads. Secondly, in order to limit the number of private cars on roads, more tax should be imposed on gasoline price, and they probably should reduce the price of public transportation, and make it more accessible to citizens, so people only consider using public transportation.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: People are never too old to get university agree.
Personally, I would say I couldn’t agree more. As the saying goes “ it is never too old to learn”, everyone, despite of their age, deserves a chance to get higher education. We should hold fast to our dreams, even though we might have setbacks and barriers in life. Not being able to go to college in one’s early 20s doesn’t mean they should not go to college forever. Instead，going to college has several benefits, with a college degree you are more competitive in the job market, thus it gives you a better shot in getting a higher-paid job.
