     托福聽力 場景對話解析

    托福聽力真題TPO第一套的第四篇是課程場景對話。對話的整體思路和出題點分析如下。
    對話開篇
    本篇課程場景對話開篇是非典型的,屬于教授針對自己感興趣的話題找學生交談,所以第一題主旨題的答案對應開篇教授說的"Hi Mathew, I'm glad you can come in today. You've been observing Mr. Grable's third-grade class for your approaches to education paper。"學生正在聽課,第一題What is the conversation mainly about? 答案為 B. A class Matthew has been observing. Mathew正在聽的一門課程。切記,聽準開頭做主旨題。
    對話中間
    兩人展開Mathew聽課之后的感受的討論。Mathew用了一系列的積極向上的詞來表達聽課的感受,比如"amazing、 learning so much、so glad……I mean it's like the best thing ever to prepare you to be a good teacher."這里對應第二題What is Matthew's opinion about observing Mr. Grabell's third-grade class? 很明顯答案為A. It will help him become a more efficient teacher. 可以有效幫助他成為一個能干的教師。這里既符合語義重復也符合最高級強調(the best thing)筆記法。
    然后,教授提到It seems that Mr. Grable has mastered the interdisciplinary approach to teaching - the way we've been talking about in class.即課上講過一種教學法IAT,后面聽到的內(nèi)容是對此教學法的解釋。Matthew用到了舉例子的講課法,舉了教授講的天文學課程用到了mythology的知識,這里對應第三題Why does Matthew mention Greek and Roman mythology? 答案是D. To illustrate a technique used to teach a third-grade class. 為何提到舉例主體,答案為例子出現(xiàn)前面的topic,即教授提到的IAT教學法。
    接下來,Mathew談到了學生在課上學習到的主要技能,And each student chose a planet and then did research on it to write a report and make a presentation. They went to the library to do the research, then they made presentations about the planet they chose.先做research,再寫report,然后做presentation。
