綜合： 文章講到一種叫l(wèi)embeosaurs的恐龍，有一個(gè)crest(冠)在頭上，這個(gè)crest 有三種用處，第一，幫助嗅覺(jué)，因?yàn)榘l(fā)現(xiàn)crest里頭有很多blood vessels，這個(gè)構(gòu)造跟當(dāng)代一種嗅覺(jué)發(fā)達(dá)的動(dòng)物很像。 第二， 通過(guò)extra area that can help them cool down rapidly.作者拿出另一個(gè)s 開(kāi)頭的恐龍，說(shuō)明這個(gè)道理。 第三，這個(gè)crest 能make sounds for them to communicate， 因?yàn)榭茖W(xué)家發(fā)現(xiàn)他們有很好的聽(tīng)覺(jué)，所以他們需要交流，故crest 有這個(gè)用處。 但是聽(tīng)力中，教授反駁， 1,雖然crest上有很多血管，但是這種恐龍的大腦太小了，不能process the information efficiently.所以跟大腦不配對(duì)，故不可能。 2. 跟另外一種龍相比，crest部分的皮膚is too small to make a difference in cooling them down. 3. fossils found that only 1 species of the lembeosaur had developed a sphisticated sound ability, others may not, 因此證據(jù)不夠，綜上所述，這個(gè)crest到底有啥用，還不清楚。
