相比其他流行出國英語考試，新托福的聽力考試有以下三大特色：
特色1：無預(yù)覽
這一特色決定了考生在聽材料時需要對局部的一些相關(guān)內(nèi)容進(jìn)行記錄，然后結(jié)合記錄的信息答題。
特色2：強度大
無加考狀態(tài)下的聽力部分為60分鐘左右，其中包括2個conversations和4個lectures,這一形式對于習(xí)慣于傳統(tǒng)做題思路的學(xué)生而言無疑是一個巨大的挑戰(zhàn)。
