本文從考試題源、題型特點、話題規(guī)律三個方面對2010年1-3季度task 2真題進行了統(tǒng)計總結(jié)，并建立在科學(xué)統(tǒng)計的基礎(chǔ)上結(jié)合歷年考試規(guī)律為同學(xué)們指出了今年最后一季度的三大備考方法，并提供了6道題型訓(xùn)練題、12道不同話題的預(yù)測題供同學(xué)們練習(xí)。此外，文章最后一部分（PART Ⅲ）談及了task 1的備考思路。
PART Ⅰ前三季度寫作考試總結(jié)
截至2010年10月1號，今年中國大陸考區(qū)共考試35次?？傮w上來講，task 2的考試可謂波瀾不驚。本文將從題源、題型以及話題分類的三大角度對task 2考題進行分析。
題源分析
從題源的角度上來看，只有其中的5次考試為新題，剩余的大部分題目是以前題庫題目的翻新或重新考察。
題型分析
從題型的角度上來看，24次考試為argumentation類題型，11次為RP類題型，
注：
Argumentation類題型指討論一個話題或者針對某一觀點發(fā)表看法，包括discuss, agree or disagree, what do you think等提問方式；
RP類題型指討論一個問題的原因結(jié)果，并提出一定的解決方案，包括why is this the case, what are the reasons/causes, what measures should be taken等提問方式。
話題分析
從話題的角度上看，35個題目中，前三大話題分別為科技、教育、社會問題，占了總題目數(shù)量的66%，具體分類如下：
PARTⅡ 第四季度備考策略及推薦訓(xùn)練題
第四季度的task 2備考要把握3個主要原則：
1.題型上，“兩手抓，兩手都要硬”
今年前三個季度的考試跟2009年的考試存在的一大不同，就是RP類型題目的大比例出現(xiàn)，將近占了1/3。在此基礎(chǔ)上，我們提醒即將參加考試的同學(xué)們一定要對于RP類和Argumentation類“兩手抓，兩手都要硬”。針對每類題目的特點應(yīng)該具備的相應(yīng)的解題方法、思路結(jié)構(gòu)都需要“爛于胸，熟于筆”，不僅要思想上能認清對方，一定要訓(xùn)練并具備規(guī)定時間內(nèi)迅速反應(yīng)的能力。
推薦題型訓(xùn)練題：
1)It has been suggested that everyone in the world wants to own a car, a TV and a fridge. Do you think the disadvantages of such a development outweigh its advantages?
2)Some people consider that school education should concentrate on academic subjects which would be helpful for their future careers, and subjects like music and sport are not useful. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
