中國學生的寫作惡心是出了名的。為什么呢?主要是因為從小到大學的教育不僅扭曲了人類天性中的分析推理的邏輯和理性，而且泯滅了人的思考能力。我在1997年8月主講托福閱讀理解的時候，曾經(jīng)分析過美國ets一片名為“諷刺文學”的閱讀理解。大家從網(wǎng)上如果搜索“莊子托福閱讀理解”應(yīng)該能找到我的翻譯和講解。這篇文章陳述了我的觀點。
很多學生學習雅思或者托福作文都是在背誦模板，結(jié)果死得很慘。其實創(chuàng)造模板的那些爛人也真賤。利用學生的愚昧無知，而不是引導(dǎo)，這是教育和商業(yè)的主要差別。商業(yè)比如制造香煙鴉片開設(shè)賭場或者妓院，教育則完全不同意這種“滿足人需求”的理念，教育是引導(dǎo)人向上，向善，教育的過程是救助的過程，救人者和被救者同樣得以拯救。這中思想需要弘揚，這種教育理念需要根植中華民族的命脈之中。遺憾!遺憾!
雅思也好，托福也好，都是要求考生用標準的書面英語，陳述自己的觀點和情感，用自己的經(jīng)歷，閱歷，或者所讀所聞所見所感，用邏輯，語法，西關(guān)用法組織自己的思維和思想。
比如一道題目問很多人在家里用計算機購買商品，是好還是壞，大家看看下面我課堂的開頭：
Bob complained that his wife frequently bought something unknown to him. He was unhappy because neither did he has any slight knowledge about what his wife bought nor did he understand why she bought. This "buying on the internet" greatly and gradually lacerates his marriage and peaceful life. In this case, who will claim that buying on the internet is a boon rather the bane? Internet business providers and a school of advertising agents might advocate, frequently by exaggerating and with prejudice, the advantages of the On-Net-Business. However, do not forget the true motivation of these profiteers.
