接著給大家講講書寫會遇到哪些問題。
一、時間問題
一般的申請人都是在寄好了申請材料了，然后再考慮套磁，但是此時人多，效果不佳。有效的套磁應該提前半年開始，即入學前一年度的六七月份。此時大部分申請人還只是忙于準備考試。要提前套磁就需要提前做好專業(yè)背景的準備。要在對于教師的研究背景比較熟悉，效果方佳。
二、思路問題
基本上是以“我希望申請XX時間的XX課程，我對你的研究項目非常感興趣，附件為我的背景”這種思路來展開。但這種思路有兩個主要錯誤，一是把范圍定得太死，往往發(fā)給一個教授以后，若是教授不回信的話，就難于再聯(lián)系第二個教授了。因為前一封信已經(jīng)明確表明“對某某老師的項目非常感興趣”，假若再用此方法聯(lián)系別的老師的話，一旦被發(fā)現(xiàn)就前后矛盾了。二是太過功利， 這是因為一上來就告訴對方你是因為希望申請他的課程，而這樣的表述方式第一時間就讓對方知道你是希望“套”他。在經(jīng)歷過無數(shù)的學生騷擾后，這樣的信件也只能是被拖進垃圾箱。
三、學術(shù)問題
一般來說，做得稍好的套磁都會深入到學術(shù)討論的層次。這里最容易被勝利沖昏頭腦，認為對方已經(jīng)對自己很感興趣，同時希望表現(xiàn)自己的學術(shù)熱情，與教授爭論某個學術(shù)問題。這里要提防的是，除非你的專業(yè)見解真的具體說服力，否則很容易變成班門弄斧，我就看過一個申請者由于過度表現(xiàn)而導致套磁產(chǎn)生反效果，結(jié)果對方老師拋出一句，“我們不在同一水平上，溝通有難度”。
四、頻率問題
好的套磁信基本上是立竿見影的，假若老師不回信，這說明當中肯定出了問題。這時一般申請人往往是追加信件，問對方有無收到。這樣的效果也不佳。會給對方增加壓力，同時為以后的溝通設置了障礙。
最后來看看如何提高套磁信的回復率?
一、分清楚專業(yè)再套磁
想要進行高校的套磁，大家一定要分清楚專業(yè)，因為并不是所有專業(yè)都是需要套磁的。相對來說，如果是文科生的話，選擇套磁并沒有太大的意義，因為套磁更加適合理科生。對于理科生來說，獲得的獎學金是屬于教授研究經(jīng)費當中的一部分，所以教授更加有資格決定，是否要給你頒發(fā)獎學金。
相對來說，文科生的獎學金一般都是由院校決定的，教授所起的作用非常有限。另外，申請需要知道的是，套磁并不是萬能的，只是增加大家成功錄取以及獲得獎學金的幾率，而且還需要靠申請者和導師之間的有效溝通才可以。
二、套磁的時間問題
對于申請者來說，申請材料都是寄給學校之后，然后才開始考慮套磁的問題。但是提醒大家，這個時候套磁的人會很多所以反而沒有什么太大的效果。如果想要有不錯效果的套磁，那么建議大家在半年之前就可以開始準備了，也就是入學前一年的6/7月份左右時間。但是這個時間，很多申請者還要忙于考試的準備。
