美國留學申請essay寫作步驟
第一步：prewrite
這一步手寫或者電腦打印都可以，寫的沒有調(diào)理也不要緊，只能羅列詞句，不能形成段落也可以，但是，速度一定要快，內(nèi)容一定要廣，重要的是為接下來時間內(nèi)要有充足的材料去挑選，找出與眾不同之處，加以剖析。
第二步：drafts
每個學校的essay都有不同的topic和字數(shù)限制，不要企圖用萬金油去對付所有的學校，各個學校的東西有共性，但是差異化的東西更多，所以，個人認為，申請6—8所學校的同學，應該要有2篇不同方面的main essay，并且在投稿時需要一定的修改。而draft就是要從prewrite中篩選你不同的但是優(yōu)秀的性格方面，有側(cè)重學術(shù)的，有側(cè)重社會活動的，有的可能僅僅是一個小故事，然后，形成一篇文章。
第三步：revise and format
檢查字數(shù)，一定要復合要求，接近規(guī)定字數(shù)，不要超過。檢查語法，拼寫，用詞不當?shù)牡胤?，要小心不要使用自己翻譯的詞，比如性價比這個詞我們耳熟能詳，但美國人表達這個意思一般用cost effective。格式上，美國大學寫作一般用 8.5x11 inch的信紙，用time new roman字體，12號字，雙倍行間距，首行縮進，作對齊，題目中置等一系列的小規(guī)則，提交紙質(zhì)版的同學要注意啊。
