2021考研英語：寫作之申請信
申請信，一般也稱為請求信，英文中成為letter of application。是希望收信人能滿足自己某個請求或需要而寫的信件，如申請簽證、留學、獎學金等等。寫申請信時，措辭務必要禮貌誠懇，切忌浮夸虛假，自己所要申請的事物一定要表達清楚，并附加合理的原因。申請信在2006年的考研英語(一)中曾經(jīng)考過，要求向希望工程申請資助一名兒童。
一般來說，在考研英語中，申請信主體部分的寫作可按照三個步驟進行，即“三步走”策略。接下來就以題目為例，具體解析一下這個策略。

在“三步走”策略中，第一步就是要表明寫信目的。前面介紹過的幾封信中在表明目的時多用英語句式I am writing this letter to……, 在寫申請信時我們同樣可以繼續(xù)運用這一句式，由于目的是要申請獎學金，所以也就變成了I am writing this letter to apply for the scholarship。此外，鑒于大學里的獎學金各種各樣，所以在信中還需對scholarship進行進一步的修飾限定，以更加詳細明確地向?qū)Ψ奖砻髯约核暾埖氖挛铩?BR> 中段：I am an undergraduate student in Fudan University. 在申請信中，表明目的提出了申請之后，接下來第二段的主要內(nèi)容就是向?qū)Ψ秸故咀约旱降子惺裁促Y格或條件來使對方應允這個申請，也就是需要呈現(xiàn)己方的資格。在本段中表明資格時，考生需注意的是：首先，資格要分條陳述，切忌“一鍋亂燉”，使之更為一目了然，也更吸引人;其次，資格中不論是自己的專業(yè)背景還是實踐經(jīng)歷，除了要敘述事實之外，還要進一步闡釋這些東西對于自己究竟有什么影響，也就是自己從這些東西里邊得到了哪些收獲。

本段中，緊接前面，亮明資格后，就需要期待對方對于這封信的反映了。在申請信中，當然是期待對方仔細考慮自己的申請需求，并盡早恢復了，在范文中，用I hope that……以及I am looking forward to hearing from you這兩句話完成了此項任務。
