1.擴大閱讀量
很多考生在閱讀考研作文的時候，都會覺得題目非常新穎有趣，值得一寫或是覺得題設題材非常熟悉，但是想要動筆的時候，卻想不出合適的表達方式，無法清晰準確的表達出自己的意思。平時閱讀量少，是造成這種現象的原因之一。古人云：讀書破萬卷，下筆如有神。多看、多記，表達起來才會有話可說。建議考生大量閱讀考研英語歷年作文的標準范文，同時注意考研英語同源期刊的文章閱讀。
2.適當背誦范文
范文的背誦不能不說是快速提高寫作成績的一條“捷徑”，考生可以選擇歷年考研的范文以及與相近的文章進行背誦。把結構合理，適用于多種環(huán)境且詞匯、句子結構閃光的句型背誦下來，使自己的表達更加地道。
3.加強寫作練習

2021考研英語：作文應避免的七大誤區(qū)
一、詞匯與語法錯誤
考研英語寫作讓很多同學都很頭痛，有兩點原因：一為詞匯，二為語法。因為英語與漢語的區(qū)別是一詞多義，非常講究用詞準確而且正式。同時，英語的詞匯非常豐富，一個詞語通常都有許多同義詞和近義詞?？忌绻綍r注意積累并加以練習，就能夠在考試中熟 練地加以運用。英文寫作也同樣非常講究語法，尤其是考研作文作為正式文體，需要注意以下幾點小細節(jié)：(1)盡量少用縮寫形式。如don't, can't, won't應寫為do not, cannot, will not等。(2)用更加正式的否定形式。如not… any應寫為no, not… much 寫為 little, not many 寫做few等。(3)盡量少用“etc.”， “and so on”等表達方式。例如：Activities include dancing, singing, etc。Activities include dancing, singing, and other fun stuff。
二、中式思維
很多考生在考試過程中把一些中文的成語、諺語翻譯成英文，這種做法導致的結果就是文章不僅行文不符合英文的規(guī)律，讀起來也讓人覺得非常不舒服……糾正中文思維習慣的關鍵依然在于培養(yǎng)英文語感，同時考生在平時的練習中也要盡量讓自己用英文來思考。如果考生需要用到諺語，名句等，好的辦法是直接掌握英文的諺語、名句，并靈活運用到文章中。
三、注意字數與標點
考研英語作文一分鐘平均7～8個字，字數多少算個夠?自己目測一下，以大作文為例，中等大小一行15字，最起碼寫到12，13位置， 因為閱卷人做的第一件事情就是看你的字數，就看你的位置到沒有到。如果你的字數沒寫夠，他就認為你連最起碼的寫夠字數的能力都不具備。但是這不是說寫得越多就會得到得分。一是時間不允許，二是寫得 越長，越容易暴露你的缺點。所以臨考前要掐表練習字數。
四、忽視優(yōu)秀范文的背誦
經過范文的背誦，我們可以有針對性的了解得分范文的寫作特點，積累寫作常用的詞語表達，和閃光句型，解決考生在進行寫作訓練時，心中有千言萬語，筆下無一言的困境。但是，考生一定要謹記，得分范文的背誦在精不在多，20篇足夠，但是一定要背的滾瓜爛熟，張口就能說，提筆就能寫。很多考生抱怨過，我背了很多范文，可還是什么也寫不出來，根本原因就是這些范文背誦不夠熟練，根本沒有深化成自己的東西。
五、寫作訓練的量不足
很多時候，考生容易高估自己的寫作水平，或者說，意識不到自己的經常會犯下的語法錯誤。這些問題只有經過實戰(zhàn)才能發(fā)現并解決。但是在這個過程中，考生練習時寫的作文，必須英語水平好的同學或是老師，有條件的同學可以請專業(yè)的認識進行批改，只有這樣，訓練的作用才能最大化。
六、準備不足，匆忙下筆
任何一篇作文出題都是有它獨特的道理的，所以提前審題和構思就顯得必不可少了。很多考生目前存在一個情況，想到哪寫到哪，使作文雜亂無章，毫無條理，同時容易出現寫錯單詞和用錯句型的情況。英語寫作不是語文散文，寫英語作文，之前一定要認真審題和思考，對出題者希望得到的預期尚未揣摩透徹，這也就造成了一些同學雖然語言功底非常不錯，但是最終的結果還是沒有拿到一個自己預期的心理分數，最大的問題就出在切題不準確或者不夠突出中心上了。
七、忽視文化差異，用中文思維串聯(lián)英文詞匯
一些同學在絞盡腦汁也寫不出英語作文的情況下，會先按照題目寫一個中文稿出來，然后再借助電子辭典翻譯出一篇所謂的英語作文。還有一些同學習慣性地用中文的表達方式來寫英語作文。這就造成了所謂的中國式英語作文。在這樣的作文里，我們常常讀到以下這類用中文的語法和英語單詞拼湊出來的句子：“When Iwas a child,my parents very love me?！?正確表達：When Iwas achild,my parents loved me very much)。
