Academic Scholarships
Baylor offers significant scholarships for students who excel academically. For freshmen, these academic scholarships are based on a combination of a student's high school class rank and score on the SAT or ACT. Scholarship amounts are released each September for the following academic year.

Admitted students are automatically considered for one of four academic scholarships listed below. Applicants who submit application files after February 1 are considered for academic scholarships based on available funding.
Regents' Gold Scholarship
Baylor provides a full tuition academic scholarship to National Merit Finalists who select Baylor as their first-choice college. The Regents' Gold Scholarship is augmented by the recipients' SAT or ACT score.

3.Need-Based Scholarships
There are many scholarships available to students who demonstrate financial need. These scholarships are awarded for the fall and spring semesters only.
Endowed Scholarships
Baylor offers a substantial number of endowed need-based scholarships. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) serves as the application for these scholarships and should be completed by February 1. Award amounts vary based on an evaluation of the student's need and merit. Renewal of these scholarships is contingent on the student maintaining financial need, full-time undergraduate enrollment, and a minimum 2.5 cumulative Baylor GPA.
Living-Learning Center Scholarships
Need-based scholarships are available for incoming students who choose to live in select Living-Learning Centers. The scholarships are for $3,000 per year and are renewable for three additional years for a total scholarship package of $12,000. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid must be completed to demonstrate financial need.
Baylor Sibling Scholarship
Baylor awards sibling scholarships in the amount of $3,000 each on a first-come, first serve basis to undergraduate students who have one or more dependent siblings concurrently enrolled at Baylor (at least one must be an incoming freshman). Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by February 1 and demonstrate financial need. Each sibling must be admitted and subsequently enroll at Baylor. Renewal of this scholarship is contingent on the siblings maintaining financial need, full-time undergraduate enrollment, and a minimum 2.5 cumulative Baylor GPA. Renewal eligibility ends when fewer than two siblings are enrolled as undergraduates at Baylor.

4.Carr P. Collins Scholarship
Baylor awards several scholarships to incoming freshmen who demonstrate leadership through service. Recipients are awarded a minimum of $5,050 their freshman year, renewable for three additional years.
Who Should Apply
For consideration, applicants must:
rank in the top quarter of their graduating class
have a minimum score of 1250/1310 (old/new) on the SAT or 28 on the ACT
have completed a balanced college preparatory program including history, science and a foreign language
be a bona fide resident of the state of Texas

In addition to submitting the scholarship application, you must submit:
A resume of your high school honors, awards, achievements and extracurricular activities
A handwritten essay of no more than 500 words illustrating your concept of leadership and how community service experiences have impacted your life
A specific nomination for the Carr P. Collins Scholars Program from a teacher, counselor or principal that includes a brief explanation of why you deserve the scholarship
Deadline
The application deadline is January 31. Applications submitted by mail must be postmarked by January 31; applications submitted by email must be received in our office by midnight on January 31.
Scholarship Details
Collins Scholars must maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average, make satisfactory academic progress toward a degree, and continue to demonstrate dedication to leadership and service. Recipients must participate in a program of civic or community service approved by Baylor University for one semester during each year they are a designated Collins Scholar. In addition, they must attend special seminars designed for the program and an annual dinner held in their honor. Finally, Collins Scholars must maintain a relationship with Baylor and the Carr P. Collins Scholars Program to mentor future scholarship recipients and illustrate the program’s positive results.
4.凱爾P.柯林斯獎學金
