TRANSFER TUITION SCHOLARSHIP
All domestic transfer students are eligible for the Transfer Tuition Scholarships (starting at $12,500). All transfer students will automatically be considered for this merit-based scholarship when their application for admission is reviewed.
CHICAGO STAR SCHOLARSHIP
Students participating in the Chicago STAR program through the City Colleges of Chicago with a 3.0 GPA or higher will receive a $25,000/year tuition scholarship. STAR students should also join the Fast Forward program before transferring to Illinois Tech.

Chicago Police and Fire Departments Scholarship
In honor of the Chicago Police and Fire Departments' dedicated leadership and service to the city of Chicago, Illinois Institute of Technology is offering $20,000 annual scholarships to the children and grandchildren of members of the Chicago Police Department and Chicago Fire Department.
To be considered for the scholarship, candidates must qualify for undergraduate admission to Illinois Institute of Technology as either a first-year or transfer student.
Recipients of the scholarship must complete a certification form and have it authorized by the designated official from the Chicago Police or Fire Department.
An eligible student is guaranteed a four-year (or five-year, for the College of Architecture) scholarship in the annual amount of $20,000 provided he or she is enrolled full-time as an undergraduate at Illinois Tech.

Special Note: Illinois Institute of Technology recognizes the contributions of police and fire professionals who live in Cook Country and acknowledges that many departments outside of the City of Chicago collaborate with city departments as necessary. Therefore, we are pleased to invite police officers, fire fighters and paramedics from Cook County to apply for the Chicago Police and Fire Departments Tuition Scholarship.
PLEASE NOTE: If a student earns multiple Illinois Institute of Technology merit scholarships throughout the admission process, the university will award the highest merit award for which the student is qualified, but will not combine multiple awards. For instance, the Police and Fire Scholarship may not be combined with a previously awarded Camras, Collens, Heald, Transfer or International Scholarship.
PHI THETA KAPPA SCHOLARSHIP
Active members of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) are eligible for the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship (up to $5,000 per year) upon proof of PTK membership when applications are reviewed. The scholarship is awarded at the time of acceptance, and notification appears on applicant's merit scholarship letter.

PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS
The Presidential Scholarship is an educational initiative that provides support to students at two-year institutions who go on to study within all fields of study at Illinois Tech.
Scholarship Information
Applicants who receive an official nomination by their institution's President or designated nominating official and are admitted to Illinois Tech will be considered for the Presidential Scholarship.
Recipients of the Presidential Scholarship receive:
$25,000 annual tuition scholarship award
$5,000 annual housing scholarship award to support on-campus residence at the university*
Presidential Scholars are asked to maintain a commitment to community outreach each academic year that engages and bridges their home and sending communities with the communities at the university, in the Bronzeville neighborhood, and the city of Chicago. Additionally, recipients of the Presidential Scholarship must maintain full-time enrollment and make satisfactory academic progress.
*This housing scholarship only applies for McCormick Student Village, Carmen Hall, or Gunsaulus Hall.
How to Apply
In addition to meeting all stated deadlines and eligibility requirements (see below), students interested in applying for the Presidential Scholarship must:
1. Complete and submit an application for regular admission through the Common Application.
2. Download and complete the Presidential Scholarship Form
3. Upload application documents.
Deadlines
Presidential Scholarship applications are due at the time of a complete application for regular admission to Illinois Tech. Applicants are reviewed and awarded at time of admission.
Student Eligibility
Applicants are eligible to be considered for the Presidential Scholarship if they:
Have completed (or will complete) an Associate's degree at the eligible nominating institution from which that student is directly transferring. Students pursuing a second bachelor's degree are not eligible to receive the Presidential Scholarship.
*The nominating institution can waive the requirement for the associate degree.
Have attained a cumulative GPA of a 3.5/ 4.0 scale at the nominating institution, or are a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and are in good academic standing at the college at time of nomination.
Awards will be determined based on academic achievement, essay strength and leadership resume.
Please Note: Presidential Scholarship awards will be awarded at the time of admission. A nominated student who receives the Presidential Scholarship is no longer eligible for the Transfer Tuition, Chicago Police and Fire, PTK, or International Scholarship.
