Singapore’s modern economy is increasingly defined by the development of knowledge-based industries such as information technology services, financial services, and business services. Even traditional industries such as hospitality, retailing and manufacturing now use information technology intensively to make data-driven decisions that improve their operations, revenue and profits.
In NTU, the School of Computer Science and Engineering and the Nanyang Business School have come together to design two hybrid undergraduate Double Degree programmes: Business and Computer Engineering, and Business and Computer Science to capture this changing economic landscape.
The double degree programmes integrate two disciplines thereby broadening your scope and enable you to leverage on a kaleidoscope of opportunities. Structured in a comprehensive and well-rounded curriculum, the 4-year undergraduate programme allows you to hone your business management skills and excel at software application or computer engineering and development skills. Designed to suit the speed and efficiency of outstanding individuals who want two degrees from four years of university education, our double degree programmes are set to fully maximise your capabilities. Not only will you have a strong foundation in business and computer engineering or computer science disciplines, you will also have the relevant skills that are much sought after in today’s job market.
With a double degree, you can be assured of wider career options upon graduation, as you would possess the flexibility and versatility to take on dual roles when responsibilities intertwine. Master 2 disciplines – business and computer engineering – in this double degree programme jointly offered by NTU’sNanyang Business School (NBS) and School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE). This double degree programme is a hybrid curriculum that has been specially prepared to seamlessly integrate both business and computer engineering elements.
Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) has since 2004 noted that employers generally prefer graduates with technical skills supplemented by business domain knowledge and soft skills. With the trend of outsourcing IT to vendor organisations, there is a growing need to serve business clients with a blend of technology and business skills for their sales and customer support functions. The key sectors which a need for such talents are those of the financial services, tourism-hospitality-retail, government services, healthcare, biotech, and manufacturing. Since AY2006, SCSE mounted the Double Degree programme in Computer Science and Business in recognition of the industry needs in such fields.
The Nanyang Business School (NBS) has more than 5 decades of experience in educating business leaders. Supported by a strong international faculty and renowned for its innovative curricula and teaching methods, NBS is one of only six in Asia to be awarded both the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditations for commitment to quality in the international marketplace for business education.

雙學(xué)位項(xiàng)目有兩條宗旨，一是擴(kuò)展學(xué)生視野，二是提供更多機(jī)會(huì)。全面均衡的四年本科項(xiàng)目讓你鍛煉商業(yè)管理技能，掌握計(jì)算機(jī)軟件的運(yùn)用或者計(jì)算機(jī)工程的研究技能。我們的雙學(xué)位項(xiàng)目將根據(jù)那些希望在大學(xué)四年充分挖掘潛能的杰出學(xué)生的速度和效率做出設(shè)計(jì)。你不僅可以擁有強(qiáng)大的商學(xué)和計(jì)算機(jī)學(xué)基礎(chǔ)，還可以掌握未來(lái)就業(yè)市場(chǎng)需要的技能。

(3)Double Degree Programme Bachelor of Business (with Specialisation in Business Analytics) and Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering)
Double Degree, Double Prospects
Master 2 disciplines – business and computer engineering – in this double degree programme jointly offered by NTU’sNanyang Business School (NBS) and School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE). This double degree programme is a hybrid curriculum that has been specially prepared to seamlessly integrate both business and computer engineering elements.
Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) has since 2004 noted that employers generally prefer graduates with technical skills supplemented by business domain knowledge and soft skills. With the trend of outsourcing IT to vendor organisations, there is a growing need to serve business clients with a blend of technology and business skills for their sales and customer support functions. The key sectors which a need for such talents are those of the financial services, tourism-hospitality-retail, government services, healthcare, biotech, and manufacturing. Since AY2006, SCSE mounted the Double Degree programme in Computer Science and Business in recognition of the industry needs in such fields.
The Nanyang Business School (NBS) has more than 5 decades of experience in educating business leaders. Supported by a strong international faculty and renowned for its innovative curricula and teaching methods, NBS is one of only six in Asia to be awarded both the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditations for commitment to quality in the international marketplace for business education.
SCSE was established in 1988 to provide a broad-based foundation for students with global aspirations of a rewarding career in computing. Its state-of-the-art research centres and laboratories provide the optimum environment for cultivating future computer engineers, network designers, animation specialists and more.
This new programme will leverage on the same framework and synergy as the existing Double Degree programme in Computer Science and Business where you will be trained by the outstanding faulty of both NBS and SCSE in the fundamentals and the combined application of both fields.
This double degree programme in Business and Computer Engineering addresses the industry’s increasing need for technical professionals with management skills and perspectives. At the end of four years, you will earn two degrees – Bachelor of Business (specialising in BA) and Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering).

In Year 3, students will have the opportunity to apply what they have learnt in class during the 10-week professional attachment.
