To gain a UK student visa, applicants must show that they have enough funds for both academic costs and living expenses. Our offer letters state the annual tuition fee and a monthly allowance for living expenses.
Tuition fees
The tuition fees for international students starting their course in October 2017 are:
Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences (including Business, Economics and Law); £16,400
Accounting and Finance: £17,000
Biosciences, Geography, Maths, Psychology and Sport Sciences: £19,100
Engineering, Physics, Geology, Mining: £21,000
Combined Honours programmes that combine a science and a non-science subject: £17,500
Medicine: £29,500
Please note that the prices listed above will increase by no more than 3% each year for the duration of your studies to take into account inflationary pressures.

In addition to the cost of tuition fees, when you apply for your visa you will also need to provide evidence that you can afford living expenses of at least £1015 per month for 9 months, ie. a minimum of £9,135 (the actual amount spent may differ according to your needs).
