Entry requirements
Please see individual programmes in the A-Z of undergraduate degree programmes and postgraduate taught degree programmes for entry requirements. For our undergraduate programmes, the University currently accepts all Highers/Advanced Highers and A-levels in fulfilment of general entry requirements. Check that you meet any specific entry requirements; not all subjects may be acceptable for all programmes. All qualifications must have been attained no more than seven years prior to application to be considered current. If you are offering non-UK qualifications, e-mail student.recruitment@glasgow.ac.uk.

Applicants for the majority of postgraduate taught programmes should have obtained at least an upper second-class honours degree (or equivalent). In some cases work experience is also taken into account. Some of our taught programmes require you to have covered specific topics in your undergraduate degree.If you are applying for research degrees you should contact the relevant Graduate School to discuss your research interests and submit a short research proposal with your application.

Pre-sessional courses
The University of Glasgow accepts evidence of the required language level from the Language Centre Pre-sessional courses and other BALEAP accredited pre-sessional courses. Glasgow International College also offer pre-sessional courses.
