Flinders University is the only South Australian University with on-campus accommodation in the Adelaide metropolitan area. The University is situated approximately 20 minutes by bus from the city or the best of the Adelaide metropolitan beaches, so living on campus at Flinders offers a unique student lifestyle.
There are a wide variety of accommodation options available to suit your needs, whether you’re staying for the duration of your study or just a short visit. Our accommodation includes self-contained units in Deirdre Jordan Village and our fully catered, collegiate University Hall. All on-campus accommodation is located within a five minute walk from the main campus or the Sturt buildings as seen on the campus map (PDF).
Flinders Living accommodates a maximum of 561 students and the residential population comprises:
50% from Australian rural and metropolitan areas
50% from international students from up to 30 nationalities.

Flinders Living provides an excellent venue for day residential conference facilities during the University summer vacation (December to mid-February).
This includes an experienced chef and staff to meet your needs, whether you require full catering for a residential conference, catering for a workshop/seminar, a business breakfast/lunch or a cocktail party or formal dinner. Menus can be designed to cater for most dietary needs.

When fees are due
All advance fees are due with the acceptance of an offer of housing.
All advance fees listed below include a bond of $350.00 which is potentially refundable at the conclusion of a residency assuming all fees are paid and that all conditions of residency are met.
Full year residents are expected to make full payments for each quarter by the due dates given, or by fortnightly direct debit from their bank account. No other payment options are available.
Single semester residents are required to settle the full semester fee in advance with the acceptance of an offer of housing.
