Overview
Recipients will receive a 50% reduction in their student contributions (tuition fees) for up to four years of full-time study. Up to 20 scholarships are available in 2017 for students who have applied to study a UniSA undergraduate or postgraduate (by coursework) degree. If you meet the eligibility criteria you will be invited to apply for the scholarship by completing a scholarship application form.

Scholarship conditions
Successful applicants will become a UniSA International Student Ambassador
Scholarship recipients will be required to be enrolled on a full-time basis at UniSA’s South Australian campuses
Scholarship recipients must maintain a Grade Point Average of at least 5.0 (or equivalent) in order to receive the scholarship payments
Scholarship payments can be received for up to a maximum of four years
If awardee's overall Grade Point Average falls below a 5.0, the 50% reducation will not be applied to the next invoice. If the awardee's Grade Point Average returns to 5.0 or more, the 50% reduction will recommence and will be applied to the next invoice
Scholarship payments (50% of tuition fees) will be provided as a discount on successful applicants’ student contribution (tuition fee) invoice at the commencement of the relevant study period
The scholarship cannot be deferred

Students claiming advanced standing, recognition of prior learning or credit towards their University of South Australia program
Unsuccessful applicants of the Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship will automatically be considered for the International Merit Scholarship.

Overview
Recipients will receive a 25% reduction in their student contributions (tuition fees) for their first year of study into their chosen program, up to a maximum of two semesters or eight courses. Students will be automatically assessed when applying for an eligible program.

Pre-Departure
Australia Awards scholarship recipients are required to attend the pre-departure briefing organised by your in-country office. We also provide the following pre-departure guide which we encourage you to read prior to departure.
Introductory Academic Program
All Australia Awards students are required to undertake this compulsory program upon arrival in Australia and prior to commencing their main program of study. UniSA holds the introductory program twice a year and your university offer letter will include the date for this program which will coincide with your requested intake.

Australian Government Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships
The Endeavour Awards is the Australian Government's internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program providing opportunities for citizens of the Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research and professional development in Australia. Awards are also available for Australian students to undertake study, research and professional development abroad.
The Endeavour Awards aim to:
Develop on-going educational, research and professional linkages between individuals, organisations and countries,
Provide opportunities for high achieving individuals from Australia and overseas to increase their skills and enhance their global awareness,
Contribute to Australia's position as a high quality education and training provider, and a leader in research and innovation, and
Increase the productivity of Australians through an international study, research or professional development experience.
There are a number of different types of awards under the Endeavour Awards Funding Scheme available to both international and domestic applicants.
International applicants must apply for and be offered a program or candidature at UniSA before they can apply for an Endeavour Award.
