Entrance Exam for International StudentsThere is an entrance exam system for international students who want to pursue a degree at Rikkyo University. Applicants will be subject to one of the following assessment processes: (1) admission by written exam and interview or (2) admission by document screening. Students will enroll in April.
Applicant Qualifications: For applicants outside of the Japanese education system, Rikkyo requires a minimum of five years of education for admission consideration, equivalent to Japan’s grades 7 through 12.

Admission TimingWhile many graduate schools have April admission, the Graduate School of Business and the Graduate Degree Program in Language Sciences, Graduate School of Intercultural Communication offer September admission. Please be aware that the entrance exam dates are different for April and September admission.

Master’s Programs
Applicants who are applying for admission in April 2016 must fulfill one of the following qualifications:
1. Have graduated or expect to graduate from a university in March 2016 Note1
2. Have been awarded an undergraduate degree by the National Institution for Academic Degrees or expect to be awarded such a degree by March 31, 2016
3. Have completed or expect to complete 16 years of school education in a country outside of Japan by March 31, 2016
4. Have completed a specialized course at a specialized training college designated by the Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology on or after the date determined by the minister or expect to complete such a course by March 31, 2016
5. Are designated by the Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
6. Are recognized by a graduate school of Rikkyo University as possessing capabilities equivalent to or greater than those of a university graduate and will be 22 years of age as of March 31, 2016
Note: 1. “University” in application qualifications 1 refers to a Japanese university pursuant to the School Education Act.
碩士課程
申請2016年四月入學(xué)的申請人，必須滿足以下一項(xiàng)資格：
1.截至2016年三月，已經(jīng)畢業(yè)或即將大學(xué)畢業(yè)(備注1)
2.截至2016年3月31日，已經(jīng)獲得或即將獲得國家學(xué)位機(jī)構(gòu)授予的本科學(xué)位;
3.截至2016年3月31日，已經(jīng)完成或即將完成日本以外國家的16年學(xué)校教育;
4.截至2016年3月31日，已經(jīng)完成或即將完成一門專業(yè)課，所在學(xué)校必須為穩(wěn)步科學(xué)省指定的學(xué)校，完成日期必須為文部科學(xué)省規(guī)定的日期;
5.為文部科學(xué)省指定的學(xué)生;
6.被立教大學(xué)研究生院認(rèn)定為具備大學(xué)畢業(yè)生同等或更高能力，并且截至2016年3月31日，年滿22周歲。
備注1：申請資格1中的“大學(xué)”指符合學(xué)校教育法案規(guī)定的某一所日本大學(xué)。
Doctoral Programs
Applicants who are applying for admission in April 2016 must fulfill one of the following qualifications:
1. Have been awarded or expect to be awarded a master’s degree or professional degree by March 31, 2016
2. Have completed or expect to complete a regular school education program equivalent to a master’s program or a professional degree program in a country outside of Japan by March 31, 2016
3. Are designated by the Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
4. Are recognized by a graduate school of Rikkyo University as possessing capabilities equivalent to or greater than those of a master’s degree holder or professional degree holder and will be 24 years of age as of March 31, 2016
博士課程

Rikkyo University’s graduate schools offer the “general entrance exam,” the “entrance exam for working adults,” and the “entrance exam for international students.” The Law School offers the “general entrance exam” and the “entrance exam for scholarships.” Please note that application qualifications and the application period are different for each graduate school and exam category. For more information on the exams, please refer to the admission guideline. For graduate schools not offering the “entrance exam for international students,” please take the exam for the exam category relevant to you, such as “general entrance exam” and “entrance exam for working adults.”

Entrance exam for those who satisfy the application qualifications for Master’s or Doctoral Programs and meet the professional requirements designated by the relevant graduate school. Please be sure to complete the applicant eligibility screening before submitting your application.
Entrance Exam for International Students
Entrance exam for those who satisfy the application qualifications for Master’s or Doctoral Programs, have non-Japanese citizenship, and graduated from universities outside of Japan. Please be sure to complete the applicant eligibility screening before submitting your application.
