Tuition fees
When you come to university you need to pay tuition fees. Different courses can have different costs, so make sure you have an idea of what you will pay for the course you’re interested in. The fees may have increased by the time you apply, so bear that in mind as well.
Tuition fees for undergraduate courses starting in 2017
The tuition fees you must pay if you are starting an undergraduate course in the 2017/18 academic year. There are separate fees for placement years.
You pay tuition fees at the beginning of each year. The fee rates depend on your fee status.
You should also budget for extra costs in addition to your tuition fees.
Note:
These fees are for the academic year 2017/18 only. Tuition fees are liable to increase annually for all University of Bath students.
UK undergraduate fees are regulated by the government. These fees are subject to parliamentary approval.
If you are an EU undergraduate student starting your studies in or before 2017/18, your fees will be the same as the UK undergraduate fee for the length of your course.
You should budget for an increase of up to 5% each year for every further year of study; we will not increase your fees each year by more than this percentage and the amount will be set out on our fee page in December for the following academic year.

A thick sandwich placement means you are away from the University working or studying for at least one continuous academic year.
