大阪府立大學(xué)設(shè)施
Library and Science Information Center
This is a center of academic information of the university open to the public with three major functions of a library, an information network and a lecture hall.
The collection of the library consists of approximately 60,000 books, providing a variety of information and publications as well as electronic journals and database. The information network supports classes and the practical training for information education and makes possible advanced researches and preparation of dissertations for the users. The main hall (U Hall Shirasagi) with a seating capacity of 1,200 can be used for a variety of events.

該中心是大阪府立大學(xué)的學(xué)術(shù)信息中心,向公共開放,分為圖書館、信息網(wǎng)絡(luò)和講座大廳三個功能區(qū)。
圖書館大約有6萬藏書,提供各種信息。出版物、電子期刊和資料庫。信息網(wǎng)絡(luò)為信息教育提供課堂支持和實踐培訓(xùn)支持,讓使用者的高級研究和學(xué)位論文準(zhǔn)備成為可能。主要大廳容納1200人,可以用于開展各種活動。
Library at Nakamozu Campus
The library is located inside the Library and Science Information Center. Its large collection covers a broad range of publications such as Japanese and foreign books, back numbers of academic journals and materials for education and research, etc. The facility with two above-ground floors and two under-ground floors has audio & visual booths and rooms and spaces for computer workstation. It is open to the residents of Osaka Prefecture and those who commute to the prefecture to work or study.
Nakamozu 校區(qū)圖書館
該校區(qū)的圖書館位于學(xué)校圖書館和科學(xué)信息中心內(nèi)部。圖書館擁有大量藏書,包括各種出版物,比如日語和外語書籍、過期學(xué)術(shù)期刊、教育和研究材料等。該圖書館地面有二層、地下有二層,有視聽隔間和計算機(jī)工作站。圖書館向大阪府居民和來大阪工作或?qū)W習(xí)的人員開放。
U Hall Shirasagi
With a capacity of 1,200 people, this hall is utilized not only for educational and research activities of the university, but also used for the benefit of prefectural residents through programs such as open lectures and cultural events.

Conference Hall
This hall with a capacity of 300 people has a main hall, a small hall, a special conference room equipped with a simultaneous interpreting system and a salon for a variety of uses to promote academic exchanges among the industry, the university and the government.

Habikino Health Sciences Library
This is one of the largest libraries specialized in healthcare and nursing in Japan, containing a collection of about 130,000 books, 1,000 journals and 3,900 audio & visual materials. The system is networking with libraries in and out of Japan, which fully supports education for the university students. It also shares the information with the local medical-related people for the purpose of developing advanced specialists to meet the needs of today’s fast-changing healthcare.
Habikino健康科學(xué)圖書館
這是日本醫(yī)療和護(hù)士方面最大的圖書館之一,收藏有13萬本書、1000本雜志和3900份視聽材料。健康科學(xué)圖書館與日本國內(nèi)國外圖書館有聯(lián)絡(luò),為大阪府立大學(xué)學(xué)生提供全面的教育支持。該圖書館還與當(dāng)?shù)氐尼t(yī)療相關(guān)人士共享信息,以促進(jìn)培養(yǎng)高級專業(yè)人才,滿足如今快速增長的醫(yī)療需求。
Lecture Hall (Habikino)
This 911-seat hall, equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems can be used for a variety of educational and research activities of the university as well as community and cultural events for local residents.

Osaka Prefecture University has a long and rich history, dating back to its founding as a training school for veterinary science.

<1949>
Former Osaka Prefecture University (Naniwa University) was established by the merger of seven technical schools. It placed a strong emphasis on “practical learning,” thus offering the courses in the areas of engineering, agriculture, economics, integrated arts and sciences and social welfare.
Osaka Women’s University was established to provide innnovative education and research that is still highly evaluated internationally in the area of women’s studies today, producing a great number of women leaders.
<1949>
前大阪府立大學(xué)(Naniwa大學(xué))由其所技術(shù)學(xué)校合并而成。前大阪府立大學(xué)非常注重“實際學(xué)習(xí)”,因此提供有工程、農(nóng)業(yè)、經(jīng)濟(jì)、綜合藝術(shù)、科學(xué)和社會福利領(lǐng)域的課程。

Osaka Prefecture College of Nursing was founded to develop advanced clinical specialists who can meet the fast-changing needs of the medical field in an age of the declining birthrate and aging population. It originally started as Osaka Prefecture Junior College of Nursing in 1978.

Osaka Prefecture University became a public university corporation through the integration of the former Osaka Prefecture University, Osaka Women’s University and Osaka Prefecture College of Nursing.
Each of the three institutions had been making a great contribution to the advancement of education and academic research and to the development of exceptional human resources for more than half a century, and Osaka Prefecture University inherited the value, asset and history of each institution for further development and contribution to people and society at home and abroad.
<2005>
大阪府立大學(xué)通過融合前大阪府立大學(xué)、大阪婦女大學(xué)和大阪府立護(hù)士學(xué)院,成了法人化公立大學(xué)。
