A complete application includes:
application submitted through the Common Application or the Coalition Application
a non-refundable $100 application fee. International applicants do not qualify for fee waivers.
proof of English proficiency
official secondary school transcripts and external examination results (Records not issued in English must be accompanied by an English translation that is certified by an appropriate school official, official translator, or U.S. embassy or consulate official.)
Certificate of Financial Responsibility (only required for students needing F-1 and J-1 visas)
online portfolio and essay (required for studio-based major programs)
Letters of Recommendation are not required and not recommended. The College Report, Secondary School Final Report, and Mid-term Report on the Common Application are not required and not recommended.
Once you submit your application, keep up with your application status through your wolfPAW account. Also remember to frequently check your email for updates throughout the application process.
Your decision is made on a rolling basis and will be displayed on your wolfPAW account after your complete application has been received and reviewed. See Dates and Deadlines for international application deadline dates.

Documents are considered official if they meet one of the following criteria:
The issuing institution sends them directly to NC State.

NC State Undergraduate Admissions employs a holistic approach in reviewing students’ applications. Competitive international freshman applicants take a rigorous university preparatory curriculum and maintain high marks throughout high school. However, we also consider a range of accomplishments and qualifications.
International freshman applicants must provide documentation that they meet the following considerations:

English Proficiency
English proficiency can be demonstrated by meeting these requirements:

Applicants who meet minimum scores required to demonstrate full English proficiency but do not meet minimum sub-section requirements may be considered for conditional admission through NC State’s Intensive English Program.
Please note: Applicants who are citizens from countries (Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada (except Quebec), Dominica, Grenada, Cayman Islands, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Liberia, New Zealand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, United Kingdom) in which English is the official or commonly spoken language do not need to prove English proficiency.
Documentation of Finances
International applicants who require a F-1 or J-1 student visa must provide documentation of their ability to cover estimated school expenses by completing the Certificate of Financial Responsibility.
SAT or ACT Scores (for International Freshman only)
SAT and ACT exams are optional for international applicants. However, if you believe the test scores provide further evidence of your academic ability, you are encouraged to submit your scores. We accept official SAT and ACT scores submitted electronically by the testing agency. (SAT code 5496 and ACT code 3164)
Please note: International students who attended a U.S. high school for at least two years and also graduated from a U.S. high school must present competitive SAT or ACT scores unless they have earned at least 30 semester hours of transferable college or university credit.
Interactive Interview
We recommend that Chinese applicants submit a third-party unscripted interview, in which each applicant has the opportunity to provide additional information on his or her:

Applicants can contact InitialView to set up an interview. Interviews are optional and must be submitted by the application deadline to be considered.
Use of Agents or Educational Agencies
NC State does not partner with incentive-based agents or educational agencies to represent the University or to administer any part of the application process.
We recognize that in many countries agents or consultants are retained by students and their families to assist in applying to universities in the United States. It is not necessary to engage an agent in order to have a strong chance of admission to NC State. Admission decisions are not based on the recommendations of agents.
NC State expects an application to be the work of the applicant and that all information on the application is complete, accurate and truthful. We may reject application materials, cancel an admissions offer or dismiss a student from attendance, if it is determined that application materials have been falsified.
It is critical that applicants use their own email address, phone number, and mailing address on their application to ensure that all communication from NC State is delivered in an accurate and timely manner. Missing any important communication from NC State may delay applicants’ application process and admission decisions.

3、需要工作室的專業(yè)
