一、Application to First Semester for Internationals
What to Do
1.Fill out the Online Application and then print it out.
2.Send the signed application with the required documents to Division 2.1 of the RWTH Aachen International Office before the deadline has passed.

Your Documents
Please supplement your application with the following documents:
Print out of the signed online application, also called the admissions application
Copy of your school-leaving certificate, secondary school certificate, or likewise
If you have already completed an at least four year long academic degree in your home country, such as a Bachelor, Licence, or Lisans diplomasi, you do not need to submit your school certificates.

Please include a resume of one to two pages without any gaps with your application. This should cover your entire career and education up until this point and contain the following points: education from elementary school until now, employment, stays abroad, volunteer work, awards, honors, etc.

Please note
You must submit proof of the required German skills with a copy of the certificate of participation, when applying for a NC subject. If you are applying for an open admission course of study, you can submit proof of language skills at the time of enrollment. Please note that you cannot enroll with proof of completion of a language course. A language course and the corresponding certificate cannot be completed during the first semester!

二、Application to Higher Semesters for Internationals
if you have already successfully studied at another university, you can apply for a higher semester.

Open Admission Course of Study
The same application deadlines apply to an application for a higher semester in an open admission course of study as for an application to a first semester. The same documents are also required. You must also include a placement notification from the examination board of the chosen course of study.
開放入學課程
高級學期的開放入學課程申請截止日期和第一學期開放課程申請截止日期一樣。也需要同樣的文件。此外，必須提交選定課程考試委員會出具的名額通知。
We recommend against applying for an higher semester in an open admission subject. Instead we recommend having individual courses from your previous studies recognized and accepted. This way the the duration your permitted stay is not cut short.

Restricted Admission Course of Study
Some courses of study have restricted admission in the higher core semesters, that is starting in the second core semester.

Please send your application for admission to a higher core semester with restricted admission to the RWTH Aachen International Office. You must submit the following documents by the application deadline

For Application to the Medicine Course of Study (Model Course of Study):
1.Placement notification from the Landesprüfungsamt für Medizin, Psychotherapie und Pharmazie regarding the recognized academic performance. This is only necessary if you have already completed some studies in medicine outside of Germany.
2.Placement notification from the RWTH Aachen Faculty of Medicine for the model course of study in medicine. This is only required if you are applying for at least the third core semester.

Selection Process
There are a limited number of placements available in the higher core semesters of restricted admission course of study. The number of placements available is calculated by subtracting the number of students who withdrew during the re-enrollment period from the set number of placements available.
篩選程序
高級核心學期的限制性入學課程名額有限。名額數(shù)量通過從既有名額數(shù)量中減去重新注冊期間退課的學生數(shù)量來計算。
If there are still placements available after the re-enrollment deadline, they are allocated to applicants in the corresponding subject and core semesters through a selection process.
Please note : You will only be contacted after the deadline if you have been accepted. We do not send rejection letters. The admissions letter contains the date for enrollment.
如果在重新注冊結束之后還有名額可用，這些名額將通過篩選程序分配給相應學科和核心學期的申請人。
