    2.會用long hair, short hair, thin, strong, quiet等詞簡要描述一個人的模樣和特征。

    (一)熱身/復(fù)習(xí)(Warm-up/Revision)
    1.猜謎語。教師說,學(xué)生猜。
    It's so big. It has a long nose and a short tail. What is it?(An elephant)
    It's small. It has two long ears. What is it? ( A rabbit)
    2. 教師出示猴子和兔子的圖片,啟發(fā)學(xué)生說:The monkey has a long tail. The rabbit has a short tail. 教師再出示長頸鹿和梅花鹿的圖片,讓學(xué)生說出:It's tall. It's short.
    3.復(fù)習(xí)單詞big, small, long, short, tall, 并說出中文意思。
    (二)呈現(xiàn)新課 (Presentation)
    1. 教師出示ChenJie的面具,問:Who is she? 學(xué)生回答:ChenJie。教師說:She has long hair. (一邊說一邊做動作幫助學(xué)生理解)
    教師出示Amy的面具,問:Who is she? 學(xué)生回答:Amy。教師說:She has short hair. (一邊說一邊做動作幫助學(xué)生理解)
    教師同時拿著兩個面具,說:ChenJie and Amy are friends. They are friends.
    2.讓學(xué)生看著面具在教師的提示下學(xué)說:She has long hair. She has short hair. They are friends.
    3.讓學(xué)生指著班里的同學(xué)說:She has long hair. He has short hair. 教師出示單詞卡教讀long hair, short hair和friends。(把單詞卡貼在黑板上)
    4.教師出示Sarah和Miss White的面具,問Who is she?學(xué)生答:Sarah, Miss White。教師把面具貼到黑板上相應(yīng)的單詞前,鼓勵學(xué)生說出She has long hair.She has short hair.
    5.教師指著班里很瘦和長得很健壯的同學(xué)說:She is thin. He is strong.并讓學(xué)生指著班里的同學(xué)學(xué)說這兩句話。教師出示單詞卡教讀thin和strong。教師要提醒學(xué)生在讀thin時,注意咬舌尖兒。
    6.教師出示ZhangPeng和Mr.Black的面具,并把它們貼到黑板上相應(yīng)的單詞前,讓學(xué)生說出:He is strong. He is thin.
    7.教師把右手的食指放在嘴上,做出讓學(xué)生安靜的動作,讓學(xué)生說出單詞quiet。并出示單詞卡,讓學(xué)生認(rèn)讀quiet。(把單詞卡貼到黑板上)再把ChenJie的面具貼到這個單詞前,讓學(xué)生說出:She is quiet. 讓學(xué)生翻譯中文。
    8.教師導(dǎo)入課文對話:John has a friend.你能根據(jù)他的描述猜出這個人是誰嗎?讓學(xué)生觀看課件[Unit 3 Let's learn/A]教師問:Who is he ?(板書)
    9.聽錄音帶,跟讀對話。[Unit 3 Let's learn/A]
    10.教師:你能根據(jù)我的描述猜出這個人是誰嗎?My friend is thin. She has long hair. She has quiet.Who is she? (板書)
    11.讓學(xué)生模仿課文對話來描述黑板上所貼出的人物,讓大家猜。
    (三)趣味操練 (Practice)
    1.Let's find out
    教師出示第一組單詞:hair, eyes, ears, nose, mouth.
    教師出示第二組單詞:long, short, big, small
    教師出示第三組單詞:thin, strong, quiet, cute, tall, short
    (四)擴(kuò)展性活動(Add-activities)
    為爸爸、媽媽畫像
    教師讓學(xué)生在紙上畫出自己的爸爸或媽媽,然后讓大家看著畫像,由自己來描述爸爸或媽媽的模樣??纯凑l畫的畫像與自己的描述是一致的。

    Step 1.熱身、復(fù)習(xí) (Warm-up / Revision)
    1.Greeting.
    2. Let’s chant: (三年級下冊的Let’s chant ,學(xué)生邊說邊做動作)
    Tall, tall, tall. Make yourself tall.
    shor, short, short. Make yourself short.
    Big, big, big. Make your eyes big.
    Small, small, small. Make your eyes small.
    Long, long, long. Make your arms long.
    Short, short, short. Make your arms short.
    3.Guess:
    It has two long ears and short tail.It has big red eyes.It likes eating grass.And it can jump,jump,jump.
    It’s a big animal.It has a long nose and a short tail.It has small eyes and big ears.
    Step 2.呈現(xiàn)新課(Presentation)
    1. 出示動畫片中的卡通人物Zoom的圖片。
    Friends
    Zoom is my best friend。
    (1)提問:Who is he ? 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用句型: His name is Zoom. 板書:Who is he ? His name is Zip 。T:Look at the picture.Is he short? Ss:No , he is tall. T:Anything else ? Ss:He is strong. T:He is tall and strong.貼圖板書并教學(xué)tall and strong。
    (2)T:Who is tall and strong in our class? Ss:…… is tall and strong.
    3. 同法教學(xué):Zip(short and thin ),Zoom(friendly)。
    出示圖片:
    She’s thin.
    He’s strong.
    Guess:
    He’s/She’s tall/short.
    He’s/She’s tall/short。
    He’s/She’s strong/thin.
    He’s/She’s strong/thin。
    4. 出示照片。
    T: Look at the picture.Who is she ?
    Ss: Her name is Zhao Yan.
    板書:Who is she ? Her name is……
    教師做動作提示:She is quiet. 貼圖板書并教學(xué)quiet。
    T:Who is quiet in our class? Ss: Wang xiaomei is quiet.
    5.Let’s chant: Who is he ? Who is he ?
    His name is Zoom. His name is Zoom .Zoom, Zoom ,tall and strong. Zip, Zip, short and thin. Zip, Zipr, friendly. Zhao Yan, Zhao Yan , quiet.
    Step 3.趣味訓(xùn)練(Practice)
    T:看圖描述人物(用句子描述人物的外貌或性格)介紹你的朋友 ;出示圖片:
    She has long hair.
    She has short hair.
    He has short hair.
    出示圖片:She has long hair, big eyes ,a small nose, a big mouth and big ears. She is short andquiet.
    出示圖片:

    誰來描述。
    出示圖片:

    小組內(nèi)介紹他們。

    Step 4. 制作小繪畫。用簡筆畫畫出自己的好朋友并用英文描述。最后收集在一起訂成小人書。

    1.小結(jié)本課重點單詞和句型。
    2.品德教育:朋友讓我們的生活更精彩,朋友之間應(yīng)該互相幫助,共同分享。
    Step 6.作業(yè)布置(homework)
    1.聽錄音,模仿跟讀課本P25。
    2.用英語向家人簡單介紹自己的朋友、同學(xué)、或老師的外貌。
