INTERNATIONAL APPLICANT
International applicants to Georgetown follow the same application procedure and deadlines as US citizens. All candidates (including non-US citizens or non-permanent residents) are reviewed without consideration of a student's financial resources. Thus, it is not necessary to send a Statement of Finances with your application. Plainly stated, our "Need-Blind" admissions policy applies to everyone.

國際申請人

TEST REQUIREMENTS
SAT - Georgetown's SAT code is 5244. Georgetown only considers the critical reading and math portions of the SAT, not the writing section. If an applicant takes the SAT more than once, the admissions committees will consider the highest critical reading score and the highest math score from multiple test sessions when reviewing the application.
ACT - Georgetown's ACT code is 0668. Georgetown accepts the ACT in lieu of the SAT. Applicants who take the ACT more than once will have their highest composite score considered in the evaluation process. The optional writing section on the ACT is not required, nor is the writing subscore used in the application review process.
SAT Subject Tests - It is strongly recommended that all candidates, whether they have taken the SAT Reasoning Test or the ACT, submit three SAT Subject Tests scores. The scores from writing portion on the SAT Reasoning Test and the optional writing portion of the ACT will not be used in place of a Subject Test.
TOEFL - Georgetown's TOEFL code is 5244. TOEFL is recommended for candidates studying in non-U.S. educational systems and whose native language is not English. Georgetown also does accept results from the IELTS. Please contact either the Educational Testing Service (ETS) or the American College Testing Program (ACT) for details about this exam.
*Notice to Early Action Applicants:
Given the Early Action deadline of November 1, the Committee on Admissions recognizes that applicants may not be able to meet the SAT Subject Test requirements. Those candidates are welcome to submit an Early Action application, and the application will be considered complete and reviewed in its entirety. Candidates applying under the Early Action plan who have not yet taken the recommended Subject Tests should still register to take the tests in the event they are deferred from Early Action to Regular Decision.
FINAL AND PROJECTED EXAMINATION RESULTS
If you will graduate from a school with a final examination such as the British A-Levels, Cambridge Pre-U, German Abitaur, French Baccalaureat, or International Baccalaureate, you will need to submit both Projected and Final results. These should be included in the Secondary School Report sent from your college counselor, teacher or the Head of School.
VISA INFORMATION
Enrolling students who do not hold U.S. citizenship or who are U.S. Permanent Residents are required to complete an Immigration Questionnaire (IQ).
Send the IQ with the required supporting documents to the Office of International Programs (OIP) as soon as possible. This will allow OIP to issue visa documents to those students who need to apply for an F-1 or J-1 student visa, and to send information to you about International Pre-Orientation.
Accepted international students will also be required to submit a recent Statement of Finances to our office.

關于第一批申請的說明：
考慮到第一批申請的截止時間是11月1日，招生委員會知道申請人可能難以滿足SAT學科考試的要求。學校歡迎這部分候選人遞交第一批申請，這種情況下的申請也被認為是完整，也會被作為一個整體來考量。參加第一批申請計劃的候選人如果沒有參加過推薦的SAT學科考試，并且被推遲到了常規(guī)錄取，那么這種情況下仍然需要報名參加考試。
最終的和預計的考試成績
所在中學要求參加英國甲級考試、劍橋大學前考試、德國中學畢業(yè)考試、法國中學畢業(yè)考試或國際中學畢業(yè)考試的學生，將需要提交預計的和最終的成績。這些應包括在你的升學顧問、老師或校長發(fā)的中學報告中。
簽證信息
被錄取的學生如果沒有美國國籍或者不是美國永久居民，則需要完成“移民調差問卷”。
需要盡快將移民調查問卷和所需的支持文件一起發(fā)到國際交流項目辦公室。這樣便于國際交流項目辦公室給需要申請F-1 或J-1簽證的學生簽發(fā)簽證文件，便于為你提供行前準備方面的信息。
被錄取的國際學生還需要向我們的辦公室提交最新的經(jīng)濟陳述。
TRANSFER APPLICATION
for Fall 2018
The deadline to submit transfer applications for Fall 2017 was March 1, 2017 and the transfer application is no longer available to be downloaded or submitted online.
The transfer application for Fall 2018 will be available in September 2017.
ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS TO COMPLETE APPLICATION
Transfer applicants are strongly encouraged to use the electronic request form to request submission of their Secondary School Report (including high school transcript), Dean’s Report and Professor’s Report.

FIRST YEAR APPLICATION
for Fall 2018
We encourage you to begin your application process as soon as possible so we may open your admissions file and track any documents sent in support of your application.
GEORGETOWN APPLICATION SUBMISSION
Step One - Take a few moments to fill out and submit the Georgetown Application. This should only take you ten to fifteen minutes. Please submit this form as soon as possible so that we may create your official admissions file. We can then track and connect any documents or standardized testing sent in support of your application. The Application also initiates the alumni interview process.
Immediately after submitting the Georgetown Application you should complete Steps Two and Three. Step Four, submission of the Application Supplement, need not be completed until the application deadline.
Step Two - Create an Applicant Profile. Creating an Applicant Profile will allow you to save your work on the Application Supplement and to track your recommendation requests.
Step Three - Complete the form Georgetown Request for Secondary School Report, Teacher’s Report and Mid Year School Report. Please note the form requires the email addresses of your high school counselor and recommending teacher(s) be submitted so that an email requesting your supporting documents will be sent to them automatically. If for some reason you are unable to obtain or provide the email addresses, please contact the admissions office and we will be happy to provide additional guidance.
Step Four - Submit the Application Supplement. Please note that you must use the same login and password that you created for the Applicant Profile. This will allow you to save your work on the Supplement and submit it when you are ready.
