Aalto University attracts talented students from across the world. We seek to recognize successful non-EU/EEA students across the world by awarding academic excellence. Citizens of the member states of the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) countries or Switzerland are not required to pay tuition fees while studying towards a degree at Aalto University. Most non-EU/EEA citizens are required to pay tuition fees.

Tuition fees
Tuition in bachelor's and master's programmes taught in English from August 2017 onwards are subjected to annual fees for non-EU/EEA citizens. Programmes taught in Finnish or Swedish are free of charge for all students. The tuition fee ranges from €12 000 to €15 000 per academic year depending on the programme:
€12 000 per academic year for the International Business BScBA degree programme and
€15 000 per academic year for study options leading to a master’s degree.

The individual student’s fee will remain the same throughout the completion of the programme. There will not be an increase in the student’s tuition fee during his/her studies in the degree programme he/she was admitted to.

Who will need to pay fees?
Citizens of the member states of the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland are not required to pay tuition fees while studying towards a degree at Aalto University. Most non-EU/EEA citizens are required to pay tuition fees.

歐盟成員國、學生歐洲經濟區(qū)學生和瑞士學生在阿爾托大學學習學位課程不要求支付學費。大部分非歐盟(歐洲經濟區(qū))學生需要支付學費。
The fees will concern non-EU/EEA degree students who start their studies in English-taught Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in August 2017 or later. Tuition fees do not concern doctoral/PhD studies or bachelor's and master's degree studies in Finnish or Swedish.

Students who apply for a new programme that starts in August 2017 or later are required to pay tuition fees for that programme. If you are currently a student in a degree programme, you may finish the programme without having to pay for your tuition.
申請在2017年8月及以后開課的新課程的學生，需要為課程支付費用。對于當前在學習學位課程的學生，可以不需要支付續(xù)學費才完成課程。
The fees will not concern those non-EU/EEA students who:
are equivalent to an EU citizen (i.e. citizens of Switzerland)
have a continuous or permanent residence permit card in Finland (type A or P permit)
have an EU residence permit for third-country citizens with long-term residence permit card in Finland (type P-EU permit)
have an EU family member's residence card in Finland
have an EU blue card in Finland

In order to be exempted from tuition fees, the residence permit has to be valid at the start of the academic year (i.e. 1 August). To prove your citizenship or residency status, you are required to enclose a copy of your valid passport or national ID card where your citizenship is indicated, and a copy of your valid residence permit in Finland.
為了免交學費，居住證在學年開始的時候(八月一日)必須有效。為了證明國籍或居住條件，你需要附上有效護照或身份證復印件，附上你在芬蘭的有效居住證復印件。
What does the tuition fee cover?
The tuition fee covers educational expenses such as courses, academic supervision, exams, counselling and university support services such as student services, use of library services and use of IT services, in accordance with university regulations and policy concerning degree studies.

The tuition fee does not cover personal study related costs such as study materials (books, computer, printers and such), any other costs that may be charged according to the university rules (e.g. casing of thesis) or national legislation, nor the compulsory membership fee of the Student Union.
It is not possible to enroll as attending student if you have not paid your tuition fee.
學費不包括個人學習相關費用(比如學習材料：書籍、電腦、打印機)，不包括根據大學規(guī)章(比如論文規(guī)定)或國家法律收取的任何其他費用，也包括學生會的強制性會員費。

Fee-paying students and students with Aalto tuition fee waiver who do not succeed in finishing their studies within the normative duration (three years in bachelor education and two years in master education) may have their tuition waived for one supplementary semester to complete the studies. This is on the condition that student’s studies have progressed and that a feasible plan is generated for the remaining semester.There will not be an increase in the student’s tuition fee during his/her studies in the degree programme he/she was admitted to.
支付學費的學生和沒有在規(guī)定學習時限(本科時限為三年、碩士時限為四年)內完成學業(yè)且持有阿爾托大學學費放棄證書的學生，可能需要擱置補充學期的學費來完成學業(yè)。這樣做的條件是，學生學業(yè)已經有進步，并且余下學期的合理計劃已經制定出。在學生入學學習學位課程期間，學生的學費不會增加。
How to make your tuition fee payment
Tuition fee is paid per academic year in one installment. For newly admitted student the invoice is sent after acceptance of the study place. Payment is due 30 days after the invoice date. Payment is done through bank transfer.

學費需要每年分一期支付。對于新被錄取的學生，在接受學習名額之后會收到收款請求。收款請求發(fā)出之后的30天內付費有效。支付通過銀行轉賬的方式進行。
For subsequent instalments Aalto University issues an invoice in advance of each academic year, with payment due before the start of the semester. The due date for payment will be stated on the invoice.
If you are granted an Aalto University scholarship, the amount awarded will be deducted from your invoice accordingly.
對于之后的分期，阿爾托大學每學年會提前簽發(fā)收款請求，在學期開始前支付有效。支付的合理日期在收款請求上有說明。對于享受阿爾托大學獎學金的學生，頒發(fā)的獎金學額會從收款請求上相應減除。
Refund of tuition fee payment
You have a right to full refund (excluding possible bank-specific payment charges) of tuition fee paid to Aalto University:
if you have been conditionally admitted but do not graduate on time and your study place is cancelled,
if you are not granted a residence permit in Finland,
if your residence permit status changes before enrollment to the university and you are no longer required to pay fees,
if Aalto University is unable to offer the degree programme you have been admitted to

對于以下情況，學生有權從阿爾托大學全額退款(銀行手續(xù)費除外)：
被有條件錄取但沒有及時畢業(yè)且學習名額被取消的學生
未在芬蘭獲得居住允可證的學生

You may have a right to partial refund (excluding possible bank-specific payment charges) of the tuition fee paid to the university if your residence permit status changes during your studies and you are no longer required to pay fees. A residence permit card in Finland must be provided as evidence for university’s decision making. When a change in fee status is made during an ongoing semester, reimbursement of the tuition fee for that semester is, as a rule, not possible but fee will be reimbursed for the upcoming semester.
學業(yè)期間，如果你的居住條件發(fā)生改變，不再被要求支付學費，你也有權申請部分退款(銀行手續(xù)費除外)。作為學校的決策依據，學生必須提供在芬蘭的居住許可證。在學期期間學費條件發(fā)生改變的，當前學期不可退款，但下一學期學費可以退。
