1.Keele International Student Scholarship (KISS)

About the Award
The Keele International Student Scholarship for postgraduate students is worth GBP3000 deducted from the cost of your tuition fees. Last year our successful applicants came from a variety of countries including China, India, Nigeria, South Africa and Vietnam and they applied for a diverse range of courses including Biomedical Blood Sciences; Finance and Management; Human Rights, Globalisation and Justice; and International Relations.
Eligibility
The Scholarships are awarded to students applying for a one-year taught masters who can demonstrate excellence in at least two of the following areas:
Academic qualifications,
English Language ability,
Understanding of the course and motivation to study at Keele,
Extra-curricular or work experience
This award is for international fee payers only and can not be combined with any other University funded scholarship or bursary which is intended for international fee paying students. In cases where an applicant is eligible for more than one award, the highest value award will be applied.
Exceptions
Please note that this scholarship cannot be combined with any other Keele scholarship. In cases where an application is awarded more than one Keele scholarship, the highest value will apply.
PhD and MPhil applicants are not eligible for this scholarship.
How to apply
To apply for the KIS Scholarship you must have applied to Keele and been offered a place to study here. You must then complete a separate application form. Applications must have been received and processed before the start of academic year for which the application is made. KISS Scholarships cannot be awarded to students who have already started their degree at Keele.
The International Scholarships Panel, which consists of Academic and International Office staff, will consider applications on a monthly basis. Only one application may be made and any applications made after the relevant deadline will be considered on a case by case basis. The Panel’s decision is final.

About the Award
Keele University is pleased to offer 5 International Smart Mind Scholarships for taught postgraduate students at the value of £5,000 each. These Scholarships will be awarded to the best 5 entries to the International Smart Minds essay competition. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount and no cash alternative is available.
Eligibility
Before applying for the scholarship, applicants must have already made an application for a taught Master’s degree at Keele University, to begin in September 2017.
Any offer of scholarship will be conditional upon applicants meeting the academic and English language requirements for their chosen course as set out in the offer letter.
This award is for international fee payers only and can not be combined with any other University funded scholarship or bursary which is intended for international fee paying students. In cases where an applicant is eligible for more than one award, the highest value award will be applied.
Exceptions
Students who are sponsored by a third party outside of the family are not eligible for this scholarship.
The International Smart Minds scholarship cannot be combined with any other Keele scholarship. In cases where students are eligible for more than one scholarship, the highest value will apply.
How to Apply
Submit an essay of no more than 250 words to telling us which Smart Mind has inspired you to pursue further studies in your subject area of choice. This could be your professor at university, a Nobel Prize winner, or another well-known figure in your area.
Essays should be typed/word processed and not handwritten.
Please remember to include your Keele ID number in your scholarship application.
The deadline for submitting an application is Friday 26th May 2017.
Essays will be considered alongside the original application to study at Keele, personal statement and academic achievements and the awards made to the best all round candidates.
The judging panel will comprise academic and professional staff representing all Schools and the International Office.The judging panel’s decision is final.

5.Early Payment Incentive

About the Award
For students enrolling in January 2017 and September 2017 Keele University offers an Early Payment Incentive for all new self-funded international fee paying students who pay their full tuition fees (total tuition fees for taught postgraduates) before 5th January 2017 and 1st September 2017 respectively. The incentive will take the form of £500 on a KeeleCard for use in all campus facilities, to pay groceries, café and restaurant meals, printing and other services across all of the shops and food outlets at Keele.
Eligibility
All new self-funded international fee paying students who pay their full tuition fees before the 5th January 2017 if they are enrolling in January 2017, and before 1st September 2017 if they are enrolling in September 2017.
Exceptions
This offer is not valid for students enrolling on the International Foundation Year Programme or students transferring from StudyGroup. Students enrolled under full sponsorship or 100% scholarship cannot avail of this incentive. Research students and students on study abroad or exchange are not eligible. If a student subsequently withdraws from the University, the incentive will be deducted from any refund to which they are entitled.
How to apply
To get your hands on a KeeleCard pre-loaded with £500 all you have to do is pay for a year of your tuition fees before 5th January 2017 or 1st September 2017. You can do this by bank transfer or over the phone with a credit card. You will find our bank details in your offer letter. Please remember to include your application number with your payment.

The School of Law is delighted to announce the launch of fee bursaries designed specifically to support international students on our exciting range of PGT programmes in law and ethics. These fee bursaries are worth 50% of the cost of fees.

These PGT fee bursaries will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need, and available to any International applicants who have accepted a place on a School of Law PGT programme.

7.Chevening Scholarships

About the Award
Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The programme makes awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at UK universities.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a Chevening Award, you must:
Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country, and intend to return there for a minimum of two years after your Chevening Award has finished.
Hold a degree that is equivalent to or higher than an upper-second class (2:1) honours degree in the UK before applying.
Have completed at least two years' work experience before applying. This can include voluntary work and paid or unpaid internships.
Meet the Chevening English language requirement.
Apply to three different eligible UK university courses (unless otherwise specified in your award category) and receive at least one unconditional offer for one of the three courses.
Have at least two referees. Think carefully about whom you wish to select as your two academic/professional referees, as you will be asked to write their details on your application form. You can find more information in the references section of our FAQs.
Not hold British citizenship or dual British citizenship, unless you are a citizen of a British Overseas Territory or hold BN(O) and are applying from Hong Kong.
Not have previously studied in the UK under a UK government-funded scholarship.
How to apply
Applications are usually open between August and November each year and are submitted online exclusively through the Chevening website.
Separately, you must also apply for your Keele university course - we recommend that you do this before or at the same time as applying for a Chevening Scholarship.

(3)在申請(qǐng)之前，至少有兩年工作經(jīng)歷。工作經(jīng)歷可以包括志愿者工作、帶薪或無(wú)薪實(shí)習(xí);
(4)符合志奮領(lǐng)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言要求;
(5)除了在獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金類(lèi)別中有特別說(shuō)明，必須申請(qǐng)三門(mén)合格的英國(guó)大學(xué)課程，并且至少被其中一門(mén)課程有條件錄取;
(6)至少有兩名推薦人。認(rèn)真思考你想讓誰(shuí)做你的學(xué)術(shù)(專(zhuān)業(yè))推薦人，因?yàn)樾枰谏暾?qǐng)表上寫(xiě)關(guān)于推薦人的詳細(xì)信息。
(7)除非你是英國(guó)海外領(lǐng)土公民，或者具有英國(guó)海外國(guó)民身份、來(lái)自香港，否則不能持有英國(guó)國(guó)籍或英國(guó)雙重國(guó)籍;
(8)先前不能在英國(guó)學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)，不能享受過(guò)英國(guó)政府提供的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金;
申請(qǐng)辦法
申請(qǐng)一般在每年的8月至11月開(kāi)放，只能通過(guò)志奮領(lǐng)網(wǎng)站線(xiàn)上提交。
同時(shí)，必須單獨(dú)申請(qǐng)基爾大學(xué)課程——我們建議你在申請(qǐng)志奮領(lǐng)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金之前或之時(shí)申請(qǐng)課程。
