Programme content
The Bath MBA 'spine' runs throughout the year, providing soft skills and leadership training, visiting speakers and business trips, alongside a core curriculum and a wide range of options. And rather than one final project dissertation, you get to work on five different projects over the course of the programme.
There are also opportunities to travel abroad, with our Global Residencies programme, and to take part in an optional 6-month internship when you have finished your studies.

Entry requirements
The Bath MBA is a rigorous, academic, postgraduate programme designed for mature individuals with several years’ relevant management experience. Taught within a high contact environment where critical analysis of case material and constructive debate underpins the lectures.
It is important that candidates have experience of business and the confidence to develop arguments and present business models as well as the ability to develop clear and reasoned arguments.

Entry Criteria
Minimum of 3 years, relevant, post-graduate, management experience.
GMAT 600+ will be required for candidates with fewer than 4 years relevant, post-graduate, management experience.
Minimum 2:1 (or equivalent) Undergraduate degree
We are happy to consider non-graduates who have an excellent career record. Candidates with no first degree but with substantial managerial experience are advised that GMAT 600+ may be required.
IELTS (academic): 7.0 (at least 6.5 in each of the four components)
or
PTE Academic (Pearson): 69 with no less than 62 in any component
or
TOEFL: iBT 100 overall, no less than 24 in any element.

English proficiency
If your English proficiency falls below our minimum entry requirement, you are invited to explore the Pre-sessional Management courses (academic skills and English language) available from the University of Bath Academic Skills Centrewith entry points in October, January, April, July and August. You may be eligible for a combined offer, which means the five or ten-week summer Pre-sessional Management course is combined with your degree, making a thirteen or fourteen-month course.
For the ten-week Pre-sessional combined offer, your English level must be at least Academic IELTS 6.0 overall with at least 5.5 in each skill.
For the five-week Pre-sessional combined offer, your English level must be at least Academic IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in each skill.
Please note that IELTS results must have been achieved within the last two years.
