Scholarships
Per U.S. immigration regulations, all degree-seeking undergraduate students are required to submit official financial documentation of resources to support their educational, living and other expenses for any dependents during their study at NDSU. The U.S. federal government provides most of the funds for scholarships and other forms of financial aid to North Dakota State University, and these resources are limited to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
However, qualified international students are eligible to apply for a select number of NDSU international student scholarships or independently research opportunities through external organizations who offer scholarships that are not restricted by citizenship. NDSU Scholarships
Academic and Cultural Sharing Scholarship - 50% tuition award
Eligible Term(s): Fall (August start) and Spring (January start)
The Academic & Cultural Sharing Scholarship offers international undergraduate students the ability to pay at 50% of the non-resident base tuition rate, currently a savings of about $9,028 for the 2016-2017 academic year; this amount of this award is subject to change, based upon current Base Tuition rates.
All undergraduate international students who qualify for admission to North Dakota State University, hold F-1 student status, and continue on a semester basis to uphold the necessary academic and cultural sharing requirements are eligible to apply for this scholarship. However, applicants who are Manitoba/Saskatchewan residents are not eligible for this scholarship as they already receive a reduced tuition rate.
Given the nature of the scholarship, recipients are expected to share their cultures with U.S. students, faculty, staff and members of the community in activities that are both academically and culturally beneficial. This will enable people to increase their knowledge of the cultures and countries where the scholarship recipients come from and gain a better sense of the global society. In turn, the recipients gain a better understanding of themselves and of American culture.

Lorraine Murphy Global Diversity Scholarship
Eligible Term(s): Fall (August start)
Deadline: April 1
The Lorraine Murphy Endowed International Fund supports and enhances internationalization at NDSU by providing funding in the form of scholarships for NDSU international students, and international travel and research awards for NDSU faculty. The awards are administered at the discretion of the Office of Admission.
This scholarship acknowledges international students who are committed to global diversity and intercultural awareness. A limited number of one-time scholarship awards are available each academic year.
The Office of Admission reviews all complete scholarship applications for eligibility and awards are given based on the strength of each applicant's essay responses and scholarship funds available.

二、洛林墨菲全球多元化獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金

Junior-Senior Scholarship - 100% tuition award
A limited number of full, Base Tuition scholarships for currently enrolled undergraduate international students are available at North Dakota State University. Awards will waive tuition for the academic year, and decisions will be announced within one month of the deadline. The Junior-Senior award waives up to 100% of the Base Tuition non-resident rate. This award applies to Non-Resident Tuition rates and only current NDSU international students in their junior or senior (third or fourth) year are eligible to apply.
Junior Senior Scholarships will be primarily awarded on the basis of academic achievement and leadership contributions. Other factors, which will be considered, are active involvement in campus activities and additional information provided in the application.
