Location
Scotland has a dynamic arts heritage and Glasgow is known as a capital of culture. It’s home to many of the performance professions - and many are located immediately around us. The city is very ‘ student friendly’ with a large student population of 80,000. Excellent transport links makes it easy to reach most of the European capitals by plane or train.

Facilities
We have recently invested £8.5M in the development of superb new facilities at Speirs Locks Studios and in the refurbishment of our Renfrew Street Campus. We believe our facilities are now the best in Europe. They include six professional performance venues; a high ratio of practice rooms per student; three recording studios; percussion studios; professional stage technology; four bespoke dance studios; new studios for technical, design, scenic art, set-building and costume design and construction. All these are backed up by the latest IT and digital technologies.

Student Union
As well as representing your views to the Conservatoire Senior Management Team, the student union also provides an amazing welfare service to all students and also organises an exciting and busy social schedule. There are at least two big social events every year - Freshers' Week and the Graduation Ball, in addition to monthly socials, themed fayres and nights out in the many bars and clubs in Glasgow.
