專業(yè)介紹
以風險分析和保險為主要的學習內容，這個專業(yè)在很多大學不叫“精算”，而叫風險管理與保險(Risk Management andInsurance)、風險分析(RiskAnalyse)、風險與保險等。
就是依據經濟學的基本原理，運用現代數學、統計學、金融學及法學等的各種科學有效的方法，對各種經濟活動中未來的風險進行分析，評估和管理，是現代保險、金融、投資實現穩(wěn)健經營的基礎。精算學在17世紀末期成為一門正式的數學學科。這些長期保障要求資金被儲存起來以備將來的保險金支付。精算師是控制金融風險的專業(yè)人員。所以，他們主要在保險公司工作，近來，越來越多的精算師進入咨詢公司，政府部門，商業(yè)銀行，投資銀行，從事風險管理工作。
