邁阿密大學開設(shè)的所有研究生項目(除法律碩士、JD、MD外)都需通過研究生院在線申請。6年畢業(yè)率較高;PhD項目通常學制5年，如直讀PhD學位的學生學制最多不超過8年。研究生每學期最多可修12個學分，暑期通常是3個學分。PhD學生要求修讀至少60個學分，課程研究(coursework)學分不少于26個。
