STEM Summer Lecture Series
The Office of College Admission is pleased to announce a series of summer STEM lectures meant to supplement a campus visit to Brown. This summer, we are highlighting the Applied Math and Computer Science Departments at Brown.
Physical Science tours are designed to give prospective students a glimpse of what it is like to study Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Math, Applied Math and Geology at Brown.

SAT Policy for Fall 2017
The current version of the ?SAT will be discontinued in March, 2016, and replaced by the new SAT with an optional writing section. Students applying? to Brown's ?Class of 2021 and? beyond are NOT required ?to take the optional writing section on the new? SAT. Brown will still require applicants submitting the SAT to also provide results from two Subject Tests of the applicant’s choice. Brown currently ?accepts the ACT with Writing in lieu of the SAT and Subject Tests. First-y?ear applicants to the Class of 2021 and? beyond are? strongly encouraged, but NOT? required, to include the ACT Writing Section.
2017年秋季入學SAT政策
布朗大學現(xiàn)在的SAT政策將于2016年3月終止，代之以新的SAT政策，新的政策將有選修的寫作課程。申請2021年及以后課程學習的學生不需要根據(jù)新的SAT政策選擇選修寫作課程，但是學校依然要求申請者根據(jù)自己的選擇提交兩門課程的測試結果。目前布朗大學接受有寫作成績的ACT代替SAT和科目測試成績。我們鼓勵但不要求申請2012年及以后入學的同學提交ACT寫作成績。
Brown admits 2,580 to Class of 2019
Brown University has made 2,580 offers of admission for the Class of 2019. The offers made to 1,970 students in Brown's regular decision pool, combined with the more than 600 students offered admission in Brown's early decision program, represents 8.5 percent of the this year's 30,397 applicants.
President Paxson’s new Brown Connect initiative is off and running—to rave reviews! BrownConnect aims to provide Brown first-year students, sophomores, and juniors increased support for summer internships, research, and funding.

布朗大學已決定2019年招生2580人，其中1,970個名額是布朗大學常規(guī)招生，另外600多個名額是布朗大學提前終生計劃的名額，占今年30,397名申請者的8.5%。
帕克森校長的布朗大學新倡議將帶來新氣象，這一計劃的目的是為布朗大學大一大二大三的學生提供更多的暑假實習、研究和集資支持與幫助。
