精算(Actuarial Science)，或稱精算科學、精算學，是一門應用科學，于財務和保險行業(yè)應用數(shù)學和統(tǒng)計方法，主要用來評估長期風險。精算涵蓋了數(shù)個相關(guān)領(lǐng)域，尤其是數(shù)學的概率論和統(tǒng)計。從事精算的專業(yè)人員稱為精算師，而一般需通過各種資格認證考試，如：財險精算協(xié)會或精算師協(xié)會舉辦的一系列考試。精算師通過分析過去以及現(xiàn)在的數(shù)據(jù)預測未來的經(jīng)濟走向，幫助人們理智打理財政。
