美國斯坦福大學(xué)統(tǒng)計專業(yè)的錄取要求

 　　斯坦福大學(xué)被公認為世界上最杰出的大學(xué)之一，在《美國新聞與世界報道》大學(xué)綜合排名中一直穩(wěn)居前五，被視作“西岸的哈佛大學(xué)”。斯坦福大學(xué)的統(tǒng)計系一直位居美國統(tǒng)計學(xué)專業(yè)排名的榜首，擁有強大的師資團隊和科研力量，因此，申請競爭十分激烈。在全世界多國家的眾多申請者中，統(tǒng)計系碩士+博士項目每年只錄取個位數(shù)的國際學(xué)生，其中中國學(xué)生不超過3個。其主要研究領(lǐng)域包括概率論 (Probability)、生物統(tǒng)計(Biostatistics)、金融數(shù)學(xué)(Financial Mathematics)等。

    a. PhD:All PhD applicants (internal and external) are required to take the GRE Subject Test in Mathematics.
    b. MS: We do not require MS applicants to take this test, but a high score may increase your chances for admission.
    TOEFL: 100

    109 Total, Internet-Based
    28 Listening;

    25 Speaking;
    27 Writing.
    GRE：There is no minimum GRE score requirement. Average General GRE scores (in percentiles) of admitted applicants:Verbal 83%, Quantitative 91%, Analytical Writing 52%
