To apply for admission to graduate study at UMass Boston, you must hold a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. institution of recognized standing, or an international equivalent.

You must submit official transcripts from all institutions attended, even if you were not awarded a degree. A transcript is considered official if it is either sent directly from the institution, or is mailed in an envelope sealed by the issuing institution. Please note that transcripts scanned and emailed by the applicant are not acceptable.
