Accreditation is a stamp of quality and prestige for a business school and its programmes. Aston University is proud to be among 1% of business schools worldwide with triple accreditation.
AACSB - Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business
In 2013 AACSB awarded re-accreditation to Aston University's business degree programmes for a further period of five years.
AACSB accreditation demonstrates international and specialised recognition for business courses at bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral level. It is perceived as “the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide”. AACSB-accredited business schools are challenged to strive for excellence and continuous improvement within their courses. This accreditation is obtained only by schools which “have the highest quality faculty, relevant and challenging curriculum, and provide educational and career opportunities that are not found at other business schools”.

EQUIS - The European Quality Improvement System
In 2011 EQUIS awarded re-accreditation to Aston Business School for a further period of five years.
The main purpose of EQUIS is to increase standards in global management education. “EQUIS looks for a balance between high academic quality and the professional relevance”. This accreditation stands for developing students’ managerial and entrepreneurial skills as well as sense of global responsibility. It also looks for innovation and internationalisation throughout the institution and its programmes.

AMBA - Association of MBAs
In 2010 AMBA awarded re-accreditation to Aston Business School's MBA and DBA programmes for a further period of five years.
In postgraduate business education, AMBA accreditation is perceived as “the highest standard of achievement”. AMBA commits to develop standards in postgraduate management teaching worldwide. This accreditation is received only by the highest quality courses which have “the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction”. It also stimulates innovation and gives business schools a challenge to “continuously perform at the highest level”.
