Taking Part in School Activities

Nowadays, a large number of students show great interest in school activities. In their eyes,learning from books is not the sole task of their school career. They also wish to take everychance to obtain practical knowledge. Additionally, they find that after long hours of study,they can relax both physically and mentally by taking part in school activities.
現(xiàn)在，許多學(xué)生對(duì)學(xué)?；顒?dòng)很感興趣。在他們看來(lái)，書本學(xué)習(xí)不是他們學(xué)校生活惟一的任務(wù)。他們?cè)敢庾プ∫磺袡C(jī)會(huì)去獲得實(shí)際知識(shí)。同時(shí)，他們發(fā)現(xiàn)學(xué)?；顒?dòng)使他們可以在學(xué)習(xí)之余使自己身心放松。
However, other students insist that school activities have nothing to do with their studies andthey fear that school activities will take up too much of their time. Therefore, they would ratherspend most of their time studying.
然而，還有一些學(xué)生認(rèn)為學(xué)校活動(dòng)跟他們的學(xué)習(xí)毫不相關(guān)，他們擔(dān)心學(xué)校活動(dòng)會(huì)占用他們太多時(shí)間。因此，他們寧愿把自己的大部分時(shí)間花在學(xué)習(xí)上。
As far as I'm concerned, I think we should agree with the former group of students. We canlearn plenty of things from the students we meet in activities. What's more, we can also get lotsof social experience from doing so. Such experience can never be learned by being a"book-worm".
在我看來(lái)，我認(rèn)為我們應(yīng)該同意前一種觀點(diǎn)。我們可以從我們?cè)趯W(xué)校活動(dòng)中遇到的同學(xué)身上學(xué)到很多東西。而且，我們還可以從中得到許多社會(huì)經(jīng)驗(yàn)，這些都是那些“書呆子”不可能學(xué)到的。
