地鐵和公交車(Metro and Metro Bus)
華盛頓是美國少有的幾個(gè)擁有比較完善的公共交通設(shè)施的城市。WMATA (Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority) 的地鐵 (Metro) 系統(tǒng)以顏色劃分為“紅，橙，黃，綠，藍(lán)”五條線。在WMATA網(wǎng)站http://www.wmata.com/上提供trip planner，提供轉(zhuǎn)乘指導(dǎo)和費(fèi)用信息。
如果你經(jīng)常使用地鐵系統(tǒng)，可以購買月票(monthly pass)、周票(week pass)、或是日票(day pass)，可以無限往返。你可以在地鐵售票機(jī)，或者CVS商店內(nèi)，購買儲(chǔ)值票或是磁卡(Smartrip)，用于metro bus 和metro (友情提示：購買Smartrip時(shí)，會(huì)被扣除Smartrip卡成本價(jià)5塊 不屬于可消費(fèi)范圍。使用Smartrip，在轉(zhuǎn)乘時(shí)，享受優(yōu)惠) 。
校際交通車 Georgetown University Transportation Shuttle (GUTS)
GUTS是Georgetown University 的校際免費(fèi)交通系統(tǒng)，它涵蓋Georgetown University Main Campus，Law center，也包括地鐵站Rosslyn和 DuPont circle。GUTS是Georgetown University校際交通車，司機(jī)可能會(huì)要求你出示學(xué)生證(Gocard)，但是外校人員也可以乘坐，只需登記一下姓名就可以了。校車經(jīng)過的地點(diǎn)是多數(shù)Georgetown 學(xué)生的集中居住地。包括以下幾條線路。
Wisconsin Avenue：To/From Darnall Residence Hall entrance and 2115 and 2233 Wisconsin Avenue DuPont Circle：To/From Kober-Cogan Hall at the intersection with Tondorf Road and Metro Station at Dupont Circle (Red line)
Arlington Loop：To/From the West Road (across from tennis courts) and various points in North Arlington, VA
Rosslyn：To/From the West Road outside Reynolds Hall and Metro station at Rosslyn, VA (Blue/Orange lines)
Law Center：To/From the corner of Prospect Street/Tondorf Road intersection and Georgetown University Law Center

Georgetown Metro Connection
一輛藍(lán)色的巴士，停靠站點(diǎn)就在GUTS 站點(diǎn)對面街上。從早上7點(diǎn)到晚上12點(diǎn)，每十分鐘就一班，在 Rosslyn 和 Dupont Circle metro stations間往返。具體?？空军c(diǎn)請見巴士上提供的行程表。費(fèi)用為1元單程，如果在Rosslyn 和 Dupont Circle metro stations上車，只要出示 Metro SmarTrip card 則只需要付50分。月票為30元，而且可以上網(wǎng)購買 www.commuterdirect.com 或者在 Georgetown BID (1055 Thomas Jefferson Street, Suite L-11, 202.298.9222)和 Rosslyn Commuter Store (1700 N.
