Having captured our attention,the picture vividly betrays the fact that two dogs are talking about why their masters,who live opposite the corridor ihe same building for such a long time,have never spoken to each other. Simple as it is,the drawing set us sinking in awfully. Accordingly,what this far-reaching picture depicts witnesses a common phenomenon in today's society:Pets,rather than people around them,play an important part in their daily life. It goes without saying that its symbolic message that indifference among people should be cleared up,has gone beyond the picture itself.
Why do we lay much emphasis upon this?Several points analyzed below might equip us with the deeper understanding of what we head for. For one thing,the great mobility of people make it difficult to sustain long intimate relationships. For another,people today are too busy and exhausted to start and keep serious long-term relationships. And above all,modern means of entertainment and communication,such as TV,the internet,and mobile phones,etc.make people spend for less time actually interacting with people around them. Consequently,no issue stands as critical to build up the society in harmony ] as clear up indifferent among people.
Judging from what has been argued above,we have come to recognize that the harms arising from indifference has been,like the pandora's box， the crippling force of establishing our ideal society. It is,therefore,imperative that effective steps should be made to narrow and bridge the gap among people. On one hand,the government should make relevant laws and regulations to establish the society where people live in harmony. On the other hand， people should enhance the awareness of caring each other. Only by undergoing these measures,can we make our society,where people,even not knowing each other,help among them appeal to everyone. Also,I do reckon that we human beings can solve this problem,and we will have a bright future.
