Having captured our attention,the picture vividly betrays the fact that some people who call themselves "scholars" are doing their research. Instead of writing his own research papers,he resort to copying other's dissertations. Simple as it is,the drawing set us sinking in awfully. Accordingly,what this far-reaching picture depicts witnesses a common phenomenon in today's society:Some scientists or researchers are not do experiments but plagiarize other's research results. It goes without saying that its symbolic message that the problem of intellectual honesty is an vital issue to the healthy development of our science and technology cause,has gone beyond the picture itself.
Why do we lay much emphasis upon this?The most important point analyzed below might equip us with the deeper understanding of what we head for. Suppose that every scientist or researcher does not do experiment,but plagiarise others'research results,then what would happen?There would be no academic credibility and people would no longer believe what the scientists say. Since scientists are noble elites of society,if their words are unreliable,then the credibility of the whole society would deteriorate and collapse. Consequently,no issue stands as critical to build up intellectual honesty as ironing out plagiarizing others'resear ch results.
Judging from what has been argued above,we have come to recognize that the harms arising from plagiarizing others'dissertations has been,like the pandora's box,the crippling force of establishing academic honesty. It is,therefore,imperative that effective steps should be made to protect the healthy development of our science and technology cause. On one hand,we should appeal to our authorities to make relevant laws and regulations to severely punish those who plagiarize others' works. On the other hand,people should cultivate the awareness of the young that academic credibility is extremely vital to us. Only by undergoing these measures,can we reverse the disturbing trend illustrated in the cartoon. Also,I do reckon that we human beings can solve this problem,and we will have a bright future.
