Good morning! I'm Li Ming from China. It's my great honor to be here to say something about caring about the old. Nowadays, with the population of people aged over 60 on the increase, more and more elderly people are suffering either from loneliness or poor health, which has been a headache and social problem for many countries.
As we all know, to respect and care for the elderly people is a traditional Chinese virtue. Our government has been adopting policies to care for them, such as free buses and better medical care. Of course, what they need is our respect and love. Thus, we should visit our grandparents and communicate with them more often. Besides, helping them do thingsthat they ever did for us and serving as volunteers in nursing houses are also advisable. As for me, I often accompany my grandparents, promoting healthy ways of life, such as balanced diets, keeping pets, Taijiquan and so on.
In a word, everyone will go old. So treating the elderly well is to be good to our future.
