卡爾頓大學(xué)對(duì)于學(xué)術(shù)成績優(yōu)秀的學(xué)生提供相當(dāng)數(shù)量的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金和助學(xué)金來減少他們大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)的費(fèi)用，除此之外，對(duì)于經(jīng)濟(jì)上有困難的學(xué)生，學(xué)校還會(huì)提供各種形式的貸款來幫助學(xué)生順利地完成他們的學(xué)業(yè)。2010-2011學(xué)年，卡爾頓大學(xué)給超過10,500名的本科新生及在校生提供的各類獎(jiǎng)助學(xué)金價(jià)值高達(dá)1,580萬加元之多。對(duì)于國際留學(xué)生學(xué)校也提供一定的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金項(xiàng)目，但數(shù)量有限。本科生入學(xué)時(shí)，學(xué)校會(huì)根據(jù)其學(xué)術(shù)及語言的綜合情況自動(dòng)授予形式多樣的入學(xué)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金，而沒有獲得入學(xué)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金的同學(xué)，如果第一年的學(xué)業(yè)成績達(dá)到A-的水平，學(xué)校會(huì)自動(dòng)授予In-Course獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金。完成一年學(xué)業(yè)后，對(duì)于經(jīng)濟(jì)出現(xiàn)困難的同學(xué)，學(xué)校還提供價(jià)值從$500 到 $1,000不等的助學(xué)金。此助學(xué)金須提前申請(qǐng)。
本科生：
卡爾頓大學(xué)對(duì)本科生的的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金項(xiàng)目有：Entrance Scholarships、Prestige Scholarships、Sprott Scholarship for Excellence、Arthur Kroeger College National Scholarships、In-Course Scholarships等等。
Entrance Scholarships:

上表提供的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金項(xiàng)目只要學(xué)術(shù)成績維持在A-或以上，GPA在10.0，正常的學(xué)年可持續(xù)獲取，但需提出申請(qǐng)，申請(qǐng)截止日期為三月一日。
研究生：
一般來說，對(duì)于海外留學(xué)生學(xué)校會(huì)根據(jù)學(xué)生的學(xué)術(shù)情況提供Teaching assistantship、Research assistantship及merit scholarships。Merit Scholarships一年大約在一千加元到一萬二千加元不等。此類獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)面向海外學(xué)生的名額非常有限;提供給非常出色的學(xué)生，不需申請(qǐng)，學(xué)校會(huì)在入學(xué)通知上告知。另外學(xué)生也可申請(qǐng)來自校外機(jī)構(gòu)或組織提供的獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，如 Ontario Graduate Scholarships 和 Ontario Trillium Scholarships。
