西蒙弗雷澤大學(xué)的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金設(shè)置概況
西蒙弗雷澤大學(xué)對(duì)于學(xué)業(yè)成績(jī)出眾的學(xué)生提供一定數(shù)量的Entrance Scholarships，有的需要提出申請(qǐng)，有的則不需要提出申請(qǐng)，但大部分的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金只限提供給本國(guó)公民或永久居民，只有極其少數(shù)的Entrance Scholarships項(xiàng)目可供海外留學(xué)生申請(qǐng)。

面向由高中直接申請(qǐng)西蒙弗雷澤大學(xué)的海外留學(xué)生，需提出申請(qǐng)的Entrance獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金項(xiàng)目有：Tadeusz Specht Memorial Scholarships、H.Y. Louie or Lohn Foundation Entrance Awards、W. Ronald Heath International Entrance Scholarship、Columbia College Alumnus Entrance Scholarship、Phi Theta Kappa International $3,500 Summit Scholarships、SFU-ZU Dual Degree Program Entrance Scholarships and Awards。
面向研究生留學(xué)生，該校也通過(guò)scholarships, awards and bursaries、fellowships、Work-Study program、 Teaching Assistantships 及 Research Assistantships等多種形式提供經(jīng)濟(jì)幫助。面向研究生提供的入學(xué)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金有：Bert Henry Memorial Graduate Scholarship、CD Nelson Memorial Graduate Scholarships、SFU Alumni Association Graduate Entrance Scholarship、Simons Foundation Doctoral Entrance Fellowship、Kruger Products Bicultural Graduate Entrance Fellowship、Graduate Aboriginal Entrance Scholarship。
以上獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)無(wú)需申請(qǐng)，由各個(gè)系在每年的2月15日前向研究生院提名并提交學(xué)生的申請(qǐng)材料，最終由研究生院根據(jù)學(xué)生的學(xué)術(shù)水平及相關(guān)情況綜合評(píng)定考慮授予。

各國(guó)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金申請(qǐng)條件及截止時(shí)間介紹
獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金是學(xué)生申請(qǐng)留學(xué)時(shí)很關(guān)心的問(wèn)題。記者日前從有關(guān)方面獲悉，幾項(xiàng)與學(xué)生密切相關(guān)的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金正在接受申請(qǐng)，或即將公布申請(qǐng)結(jié)果，學(xué)生要及時(shí)關(guān)注。
美國(guó)教育考試服務(wù)中心(以下簡(jiǎn)稱ETS)近日宣布，2013年托福獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金項(xiàng)目啟動(dòng)，將有46位優(yōu)秀中國(guó)學(xué)生獲得總額13.8萬(wàn)美元的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金，獎(jiǎng)金數(shù)額比去年增加了66%。該獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金用于幫助學(xué)生進(jìn)行2013學(xué)年在海外的本科或研究生階段的學(xué)習(xí)。獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金申請(qǐng)要在4月30日前在線提交。ETS將在5月通知申請(qǐng)人獲獎(jiǎng)情況，8 月發(fā)放給獲得者所就讀的院校。獎(jiǎng)金只可用于學(xué)業(yè)開支，且將只在學(xué)生抵達(dá)校園后支付。
法國(guó)大使館今年再次推出France Excellence獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金項(xiàng)目，針對(duì)赴法就讀碩士項(xiàng)目的學(xué)生開設(shè)，包括每月750歐元的補(bǔ)貼和大學(xué)生社會(huì)保險(xiǎn)。獲得者在抵法第一時(shí)間即有權(quán)享有個(gè)性化的接待和租房服務(wù)，同時(shí)可以參與文化和社交活動(dòng)。該項(xiàng)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金項(xiàng)目由法國(guó)駐華大使館文化教育合作處和科技處設(shè)立，旨在協(xié)助中國(guó)優(yōu)秀學(xué)子實(shí)現(xiàn)留學(xué)計(jì)劃。本年度申請(qǐng)于4月5日16時(shí)截止。
