manage to do sth. 意為“設(shè)法完成或做到某事”，含有成功之意。
He managed to organize a live concert. = He succeeded in organizing a live concert.
他設(shè)法組織了一次現(xiàn)場直播的音樂會(huì)。
try to do sth.意為“試圖做，盡力做某事”，是否成功，并不肯定。
He tried to work it out, but he failed.他努力想把它算出來，但沒成功。
