A stately pleasure-dome decree:

With walls and towers were girdled round:

Where blossomed many an incense-bearing tree;

It was an Abyssinian maid,
And on her dulcimer she played,

Xanadu是一個(gè)擁有很富文學(xué)意涵的字：馬可波羅(Marco Polo)在他的自傳里提到Shan-Du，屬于呼必烈汗的美麗宮殿。1617，Samuel Purchas在他的書中描述，Xanadu是呼必烈大汗莊嚴(yán)的宮殿，有十六英里寬，旗幟飄揚(yáng)，野獸追逐，豪華的宮殿遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)相對(duì)。1816年，柯立芝發(fā)表的這首新詩《呼必烈汗》，從此奠定"Xanadu"在西方文學(xué)上的象征意義。

Xanadu葡萄美酒，1968年，愛爾蘭籍的約翰? 拉根博士(Dr. John Lagan)來到位于澳洲西岸的瑪格利特河地區(qū)栽種葡萄，并創(chuàng)建了一個(gè)酒莊Xanadu，現(xiàn)在更成為這地區(qū)少數(shù)的老酒莊之一。Xanadu酒廠名稱的來源，是約翰?拉根博士讀到柯立芝的新詩「呼必烈汗」(Kubla Khun)---認(rèn)為詩中的意境與心中的想法相符，故以Xanadu為酒命名。目前在Xanadu酒莊生產(chǎn)三種系列，(分別為Secession, Xanadu及Lagan Estate Range)，共11款不同變化的葡萄酒
