2. The kids are ready to run. They stand in a line. Coach Mike is big, strong and fun. He blows his whistle. Then he says, "Let's run!"
3. The kids start to run. Max and Jan are fast. Dan is faster. Pam is the fastest. Sam is last.
4. After running, Jan does cartwheels. Kim does flips. Max does rolls. Sam just trips.
5. Coach Mike shouts out,"Go into groups for three-on-three. It's time to play basketball!" The children dribble, pass and run. They're having fun.
6. Now Dan has two kids guarding him---Pam and Max. And Jan guards Kim.
7. But no one guards Sam, because he is not fast and he is always last. Now Dan must pass the ball. But to whom? He has no time to think about it. He just throws the ball.
8. It goes to Sam. Sam shoots. The ball goes in. Hooray for Sam! His team wins.
