我是2月13日完成網(wǎng)申并親自到UIC教密那里遞交的材料。差不多一個(gè)月以后網(wǎng)申?duì)顟B(tài)顯示為其他一切材料都已經(jīng)到齊，可是“成績(jī)單沒(méi)有收到”。我打電話(huà)給教密核實(shí)成績(jī)單是否丟失，得到的答復(fù)是：“沒(méi)有!正在審核。”本打算耐心等待，結(jié)果在3月底的時(shí)候居然收到一封郵件，正式通知“沒(méi)有成績(jī)單”，要我趕在截止日期以前提交(截止日期是2月15日，早過(guò)了)。這次在感覺(jué)莫名其妙之余，沒(méi)有那么緊張，因?yàn)橐呀?jīng)知道他家比較混亂，所以寫(xiě)了一封郵件詢(xún)問(wèn)。意外的是他家居然回信了，回信人語(yǔ)氣誠(chéng)懇，解釋清楚，讓我對(duì)他家的印象有點(diǎn)良好的改觀。信件內(nèi)容我貼出來(lái)，供與我有相同經(jīng)歷的xdjm們參考，平息一下內(nèi)心的疑慮和焦急。
Dear XXX,
Thank you for taking the time to contact me. I completely understand your confusion and reassure you that we do in fact have your transcripts. Since the admissions process is two fold in the sense that we must also send on your documents for evaluation, this is the reason they are still marked as not received. The process consists of sending your documents to the Office of Admissions and Records which upon evaluation they will determine whether they are acceptable or not. During that time they will then mark your documents off as received unofficial or official depending on the situation. Unfortunately until they are fully evaluated they are still marked as not received, thus causing confusion on your end. Please be assured that we do have them and are working diligently with the Office of Admissions and Records to ensure that your documents are evaluated as soon as possible. Should you have any more questions, please feel free to contact me again.
Once again thank you for your interest in our program and for being so patient. I look forward to notifying you of our decision once your application is fully reviewed.
